My Neurontin was upped recently. I took 4 this morning like I was told to and i felt pretty good for most of the morning, but hours ago I started feeling crappy again. Does this stuff actually take time to work and wasn't the neurontin working earlier or does the neurontin have some kind of allotted time that it works in, like it lasts for a few hours or something?

It'll probably take some time for your body to work everything out, but it will eventually. Just give it a week or two, and if it's still doing the same thing, talk to your doctor.

My dad takes that. Some of the effects kick in the first day, and some take a little longer. Give it a few weeks before you give up on it.

Who said I was giving up on it? I was pretty much curious as to why I was laughing for no reason the first day. I wasn't histerical or anything, though.
Ah, okay, giving up on meds is just usually the course of action when people don't think the meds are working right, so I thought I'd give you a little encouragement to keep with 'em!
