However, I came across this nifty little video... It's looking FAR improved from what I've seen before this- they've apparently gotten past the beta stage. Hey, if Ike sucks, it'll only be a return to tradition. wink
(Playing the GBA games first spoils people for good lord growth! Spoils them, I say! gonk )
I've been looking forward to Souen since it was announced--it was the motivating factor to me finally investing in a GameCube. (Not that stuff like F-Zero GX hurt, of course, but...y'know.)
I really want Senerio to be a total loser, so all the people who have been drooling over his character design and going "OMGSOKEWL" will be disappointed. twisted

Skies of Arcadia. Mmmmmmm...Good times.
On a side note, I personally always prefered Serra over Priscilla. I know she can't rescue well, but she gets a level boost towards bishop and she makes a pretty good bishop.
...and yes, it does look sweet. I can't wait.

I'll probably preorder, although that wasn't the main reason for my Gamecube purchase. Also, the DK game in the trailer looks SWEET. And I have the bongos from DOnkey Konga already anyway. SO good.

it was suposed to be a general area RTS.
but the screen shots are that of a grid, turn based strategy game????

The only good ones I will ever play are Pikmin and Pikmin 2. The rest IMO, suck. Fire Emblem shall always be a turn-based RPG. If they ever change the overall meat-and-potatoes of a FE game I'm going to be very, very angry. Fire Emblem= Turn-based strategy, forever and always. 3nodding

Soon.... as the trailer slowly loads over my god-forsaken phone-line connection, i shall see FE on the GCN!!!
Personally, I'm more excited about the Sacred Stones, (May 23!!!) but i'd definetly like to get this one too.... Even though i'd likley have to buy it out of my own money, as i've already fixed my eyes on Sacred Stones for passing....

It looks like you can customize your character's weapon to see how it looks like from the new trailer. A new but rather pointless feature. Mow I wish I have a Cube to play this on...
