Greetings Members,
First of all, I would like to thank all of you for your support! When I originally had the idea to create this guild, I wasn't sure how receptive Gaians in general would be to the idea. Obviously, I got enough positive feedback on the idea to make me go through with actually creating the guild. Since then the crew and I have been working hard to create a fun role-playing environment that caters to the tastes of those of us that consider ourselves literate, good role-players.
As you know, things have been going pretty slowly in the development department here. Our first Realm, Zanne ed Artigli, was ready to adventure in pretty quickly (thanks to the efforts of Thornless-Rose and Rigga Mortis), but things are still pretty slow going.
Right now, Psyk_e is working on our second Realm. Archanum should be ready to role-play in soon, so watch for it! Aside from that, we also have another Realm in the works. Random_Writer and I are working hard on a cyberpunk-themed Realm. We're putting a lot of work into that, so it's still too early to say when it will be open, but keep your sights set on the horizon!
As far as the current state of Shattered Realms... Yes, I know the guild seems more or less dead lately... We should all work together to get things more active. If you have a friend (or two) who is also into role-playing, why not invite them to Shattered Realms so they can start role-playing with you? Remember, Shattered Realms is still brand new and that's why things are still pretty quiet. I have never asked anyone to advertise for our guild, but that doesn't mean you can't! If you want to spend a few minutes spreading the word to other role-players out there, your efforts won't go unrecognized. smile
My plans for the future of Shattered Realms? Well, I haven't decided if I'll put my plan into action after Archanum is open, or after the cyberpunk Realm is open (that depends on how quickly the cyberpunk Realm is moving toward completion), but here's what I want to do... Once I've got 2 (or 3 depending) Realms open for business, I'm going to start doing some role-playing myself. Also, I'm going to start doing some member recruiting, to try to get more active members who want to role-play with us. This should get the ball rolling and get the guild more active. Once it starts getting a little more active around here, I'll be able to start holding contests and events, too. So needless to say, things will be looking up for us soon...
