The classroom of the tracking and survival class is non other than the Forest of Death, where the old chunnin exams in the Hidden Leaf village took place.
It is a dark forest, filled with all sorts of wild flora and fauna that would have no problem ripping you in two.

Ren was waiting for the new students to come in. She had given them written instructions on how to perform the jutsu to get you to the tower in the middle, she just hoped that the fresh meat was competent enough to make it past their first day. She sighed and went back to the teacher's lounge.

Koumuru used the jutsu written on the scroll he had been mysteriously given and easily reached the tower in the middle of the forest. Well, all except for a little bit of the trip, where he thinks that somehow a tree got in his way and knocked him upside the head, so now he has a major headache. He started walking around the tower, attempting to find someone else that might be here, but didn't seem to find anyone. He finally just sat down with his back against the wall of the tower, attempting to rest his head a little before his first lesson.

Colette made her way to the forest gate and took the scroll out of her bag. It took her quite a few tries to accomplish this task, but she finally made it to the tower.
"I guess we're in the same class." she said to Koumuru, pointing out the obvious.
"Ah, newbies!" Ren grinned, almost appearing out of nowhere.

"Great!" Ren said, putting her hands together, "Our first team has arrived." Ignoring the students confused gazes, she continued, "In this course, I'm putting you into groups of three. Think of it as practice for becoming gennin. Teamwork is important when you are a shinobi, whether it be your three-man squad, the police force, ANBU, you can't acclomplish much going solo. SO, since you are the first three to arrive you will be 'squad 1'. This works out perfect, seeing as we have two boys and a girl."

Koumuru stood up, his body wobbling a little bit as blood rushed from his head. He walked over to the others and looked to the teacher, still a little blurry-eyed. He subtly blinked and looked to the other two, lazily pointing at them as though silently saying 'I'm a sleepy idiot and wasn't listening to a word this crazy teacher was saying...so I'm just guessing that something was said about me and you guys...'

Koumuru smiles and nods, then falls over onto his back and starts resting his eyes.
((yea...he sleeps a lot when he has headaches...plus i'm feeling like some spazmistic idiot right now lol))

Koumuru continued resting his eyes, pretending that he didn't actually hear his partner call him a wierdo. He had grown to have quite acute hearing, thanks to constantly listening in on conversations instead of being the one to make them and being forced to learn how to hear better so he could use the Hidden Mist technique to its full extent. He rolled over and made it seem even more like he was sleeping.

((wow...we seem like a bunch of retarded cave men or something lol...no offense...that's just what I sort of get from it))
The flame cut off Koumuru's darkness, forcing him to open up his eyes to see what the disturbance was. He looked up and saw Kazuki standing over him with a small flame dancing on the tip of his finger. Koumuru quickly got up and looked straight to Kazuki, a dark complexion appearing on his face. "What do you plan on doing with that flame you created, hm?"

"Just great...I'm stuck with two retarded cavemen for the semester!" Colette growled, giving Ren the death glare.
Ren ignored the girl's death threats and grabbed the boy's flaming finger tip, using it to light her cigarette. "Sorry, I left my Zippo on the kitchen counter."
she sat there for a few minutes, smoking her cancer-stick, before casually walking to the center of the room and blowing a whistle. "Okay! First assignment! I suggest you prepare for your first venture into the forest of death."
