Since my creations have been deemed to be horrible, will the sage hiding withing the safety of the darkness give me some pointers to improve upon them? Fear not about being blunt, for I will not hurt you... too much.
Positive criticisim is always welcomed, for criticism is the best mirror of one's flaws.

:Colour Scheme: Black(background)/White(text)/Red(text border+the glittery stuff)
:Animation: Just the glitter stuff like in the samples
