In the lush heart of Drachen welt, all hybrids who are not affiliated with either dark or light elements gather. They live peacefully and often times on their own, coming togeather only to defend themselves and to celebrate the phases of the moon, the sun and the seasons.
The plentiful rivers provide fish and clean water. The waterfalls, and forests give good cover and places to relax and enjoy life. The plains offer great hunting.
Most of the other creatures that live along with the hybrids dweal here including some strange unidentifiable ones whom both live along side and give food to the hybrids, some prey on them, but they are a small threat in the safty of the valley.
Kamakazi, the house leader, ran swiftly across the plains. He was a loner at heart and strived to give those who considered themselves a part of 'his house' as much freedom as they wanted or needed. His house seemed to be in favor these days, and the only neuteral house in the land; the dark and light houses are far from a moment of peace.
His tail streamed behind him and his mane rippled in the wind. He seemed to be a half step between a super hybrid and a regular on, his size equalling that of a doe.
His powerful strides slowed as he approched the rivers edge. He shook his mane out as he stopped and lowered his head to drink. His ears listened and swivled as he drank, he had little to worry about other then the well being of others in his clan.
Most hybrids had scattered following the recent disaster that left most of the world dead or in hiding for many years. He rose his head again and looked out across the river to the sparkling mountains to the east, just a mear dot on the horizon, but their beautiful white surface made them visible from nearly anywhere.*

Danny looked on from afar at the 'Great Kamakazie' he'd heard so much about from drifters and wanders. All this time he felt he had no place with anyone, no one to put his loyalty before, someone to help him grow! And not just be an immature little kitten anymore!He began at a running start but the closer he got, Kamakazi's intimidating presence loomed over him. By the time he was within tail's length of Kamakazi Danny was at a crawl, body just bareley hovering over the ground. He risked his butt to speak"Kamakazi.....S-sir, I wish to join this house."

*Kamakazies bright, strong eyes rolled over his shoulder towards the young hybrid. His strong frame turned slowly as he looked down at Danny, Long mane falling in his face*
You...wish to join my house?
*he asked with his deep voice, brow raised slightly*
How do I know you arent from the dark house? Hardly anyone has been willing to come up to any other house because of the supposed 'ultimate power' held there...
*he looked him over again. He lacked the traditional pendent issued to members of the dark house, and looked much to young to have any prior relationship with any other house...*

He quickly answers, body almost touching the grass "No! I would never join that house!"~I really hope Kobbeh's ears aren't so great~"I don't need power."I-I just want to be respected and not pushed around because I'm so small,"
Danny regains his composure and sits in a more presentable way"and I beleive you can help me with that request"He looks up at Kamakazi eyes burning with determination.

*he flicked his tail and nodded to Danny, heavy feet pounding against the ground as he started off, away from the stream.*

Sitting still in a state of shock."He said I could stay? He said I could stay!"
Danny began bucking and making meows as loud as could. He missed his footing and fell rear first into the stream but he didn't care He was excepted! His herding instinct catching up with him the soggy kitten trotted after Kamakazi.

"umm....Its's Daniel, but nobody ever calls me that. Everyone calls me Danny. Well, at least everyone I know-"A small grasshopper leaped across Danny path into the gap in-between Kamakkazi's legs.Danny took off after it gettin Kamakazi's hind legs mildly wet.

*He reared and as he fell back to the earth, he watched the young hybrid dart off after the insect. He shook his head slowly, mane moving with the gentle sway of his head. After watching the young hybrid for a moment longer, he started off again, his powerful quiet in the lush grass. His eyes searched the horizon ahead, which revealed the vast plains that lay between the two major forests.*

After loosing intrest in the bug, which had just leaped into a hole in the dirt,Danny turned his attention back to his only current friend. He watched as Kamakazi gazed in the direction of the two forests. Danny admired him from his position thinking that usual childish thing any kid would say
~wow......I want to be just like him when I grow up~
Danny cantered over to Kamakazi's and sat at his right forepaw, looked up at him and asked "Did you have parents when you were a kitten?"

He looked up at the sky. Not a cloud in sight. "Does it ever rain here? I mean, not that I would want it to, I was just wondering" A small breeze came from the east.

Danny trotted over to a small patch of grass slightly taller that the rest of the grass and began to roll and flatted it. Small groans of pleasure escaped him as he demolished the grass in effort to get rid of the itch that had been plaguing him for the last two minutes.
