how many of you have seen this series as of yet?
The story is about a very girlish boy who is upset after being turned down by her lesbian friend so climbs to the top of a hill where she is hit by a UFO. The aliens realize that made a mistake so put the boy back together, however now the boy is a girl.
Over the course of the story it turns out that the boy was always a girl inside. She wished to be a bride when she grew up and acted even more feminine then the other girls. Soon it was realized that she really is a girl after all. The lesbian girl she loves finally really notices her and a love triangle brews as the girl's childhood friend becomes involved.
It is a beautiful story about love and a miricale that brought them together. I have heard that the manga is now licensed and the anime is soon to be.
What does everyone else think of this series?

I loved episode 13 as well. I thought that couple was the best. They both completed each other.
I also think that Temari should let her hair down more. She looks pretty like that instead of in pigtails all the time.

I've seen some of that, meself. Alas, I can't say that I've seen it in it's entirety. ^_^;; That being said, I really did enjoy what I've seen thus far.
And now, to stand in the middle of a field or something, and stick my thumb out ... xd

I'm mad that I didn't get a chance to actually read Kashimashi before it got licensed, but I do plan to get the manga and I did see the entire anime series. I was drawn to it because of the gender issues that can be read into it (and the yuriness, of course). I personally preferred episode twelve's ending and refuse to acknowledge episode 13 (which hurts because I was really excited waiting for its release), but the final ending really bothers me not so much because of who Hazumu ends up with, but because of what happens to the characters. Yasuna's character is completely different.
I do like the series, though. I like the mixture of reality and sci-fi. The love triangle is a realistic problem, making it beleivable. And I LOVE the music. Got it all, and I've got an animatic almost completely finished for an animation I plan on doing to the TV size of the opening song.
