Crap, I feel so stupid... We were trying to move some furniture around. Putting Drew's compter in his room and the bookshelf/desk in the living room. Well, things were going well, when I suddenly tried to move the bookshelf/desk into the hall to get it out of the way. Polly ran under foot. I was watching her and not the shelf when the top shelf suddenly came free and came crashing down upon my hand. There are two rather deep cuts on my right hand thumb and it is numb as hell... hurts too. I am forced to hit the space bar with my fingers and using then track ball is a pain in the a** as well.
*swallows against the pain* The annoying thing is I was working on finishing some art and am nearly finished that story I'm working on... now they will have to wait... *sighs* sorry everyone.

Thanks for the concerned comments. I should be alright. It seems I have the luck of a cat when it comes to getting wounded. Only minor scraps and such. Nothing too serious. It looks as if the shelf hit my arm first so slowed it down. I guess I was lucky. It took a small chuck of wood off the shelf as well as bending the metal bit that hit my thumb. I'm just glad I didn't loss the finger.
Anyways, It seems to be getting better.

Yay!
One of the worst... finger injuries I've had was opening my new watch. xD
You know that hard plastic stuff a lot of watched come in? Well... I was sitting in the car with my mom outside of Wal-Mart trying to get my new watch out. I snapped the plastic, and it cut into my left index finger pretty bad. It didn't even hurt much, but then I looked at it and was like "Wow, that's a pretty bad cut." Of course, my mom freaked and wanted to take me to the hospital... Instead, I went back into the store, with a napkin wrapped around my finger applying pressure, and bought a little first aid kit.
Gah. I need to stop going off on random tangents. >.<

You know that hard plastic stuff a lot of watched come in? Well... I was sitting in the car with my mom outside of Wal-Mart trying to get my new watch out. I snapped the plastic, and it cut into my left index finger pretty bad. It didn't even hurt much, but then I looked at it and was like "Wow, that's a pretty bad cut." Of course, my mom freaked and wanted to take me to the hospital... Instead, I went back into the store, with a napkin wrapped around my finger applying pressure, and bought a little first aid kit.
Gah. I need to stop going off on random tangents. >.< Don't worry about ranting. I've been hurt so many times that I seem to know exactly how to stop the bleeding and bandage myself up rather quickly. The only times that I've been cut really badly were intensional and I've only had my ribs broken. I've been hit by several cars and seem to just bounce right back. It is so wierd. One hit never seems to do much to me other then shake me up for a moment. Well, jaa ne Kat
