Personality: Kai is a tomboy, in fact, sometimes she is mistaken for a guy. She doesn't mind it, almost agreeing with the criticism that most girls are weak, but she never risks offense by stating that opinion. She is an outwardly charming, and so very gay, person, but really doesn't really give out information. She doesn't talk much about her village except with vagueness and deflects most questions about herself. She can be very manipulative and deceitful, especially because no one really knows what her intentions are.
Info: Most of her background information is completely unknown, but for reference for the players here is info that your characters probably wouldn't know. She is the eldest of a large noble family in the country of earth. Many Tsuchikage's have come from their house since they possess a kekki genkki I'll explain later, but it is certainly not a sure thing. Kai is not, I repeat, is not, the Tsuchikage. As the eldest it was her place to be the head of the Shigekazu political clan, but through manipulation and murder that was taken from her by her younger sister. Her sister Amaya did not banish her, but all the same Kai refuses to stay in the place where her sister connivingly rules. She seeks power to overthrow her sister, and to do that she practically has to defeat an army by herself, so she's got a long way to go *winks*
Level: I'd like to put her at chuunin, perhaps jonin, but I think I'll stick with chuunin, no snense in making her uber powerful or anything. But if thats a problem I'll put her at academy level. She just wouldn't really learn or test at Konoha so I figured I'd move around that, but like I said, if it's a problem, then I'll change her storyline so she is academy level.
Weapons: She is very good at close ranged taijutsu, but just as good at long range with her spiked whip. She switches between long and short range quickly and efficiently so really her asset is that she has no preference. That also means confronted with a genius of one category, she couldn't compare.
Jutsus: I don't want to make her powerful so I'll only give her two good ones, and after that, just the basic jutsu's, nothing noteworthy, and for good measure to not make her a god-moding character, she can't to her kekki genkki to 100%
1. The Naiya mozou technique (literally the diamond mimic). It is a technique unique to the country of rock, but not a kekki genkki, that comes later. The technique is somewhat similar to Tsunade's face gem/tattoo where she holds her chakra, but not at the same time. It is a tattoo that is a permanent link not to chakra, but the elements of earth and nature. If chakra is channeled into the tattoo's it gives the wearer power to animate or mimic certain elements. The appearance is a shadow, but it is not a Nara clan technique. The tattoo most used are the ones on her hands and arms, but she has them on her face, chest and back. Her eye is utterly normal, perhaps she's just hiding a scar with a tattoo!
2. Inshou/Houmen techniques (seal and release) this is her kekki genkki, the Shigekazu pride and joy. Let's make it simple, certain/most rocks can absorb massive amounts of heat, friction, torque, and thrust damage without breaking, and that's the idea of the kekki genkki. Inshou, or seal takes an attack upon the operator and absorbs it, effectively sealing the damage from the operator. If taken a step further it can invade an attackers body and seal the jutsu within the attacker. Of course if the attacker is stronger they can blast through the "rock" like 2000 degrees Celsius would crumble a granite compound, so its not a god attack, its only as strong as the wielder, and as strong as the other person is weak. Release or Houmen is the opposite, it takes power, or even a full justsu, and redirects it back on the user. Of course its downside is that it takes time and can explode before the operator is ready backfiring on the operator. Also if the justsu sealed is to powerful for Kai to wield it can consume her, so she is careful not to try and absorb everything; it also has a limit it can absorb so she's careful about that as well.
