Long ago the sea was a lawless unruly place, Home to Sailors, beastly monsters, and crazy folklure. Very few traveled by boat and only if it was a nessesity, the cost was high and it could even end your life. This is where our story begins on the sea in a large Merchant vessel headed for the new world...

3. No powers lets try to make this realistic.
4. Only carry as many weapons as your character can feasibly carry.
5. No killing anyones character without their permission.

Belle held on to the piece of drift wood she fought against the weight of her huge skirts. Sputtering as she bobbed around at the mercy of the waves. She kicked and splashed around until she felt something brush against her leg under the water. Belle shrieked and kicked hard, trying to fend off whatever had brushed against her, she silently prayed that she wouldn't be eaten alive by some beastly creature of the deep.

Grimmey knocked on Barts quarter doors. "Captain, Captain, Im sorry to wake you but shifty has spotted some one adrift in the water...." Bart opened the door quickly with a stern face. "what about a boat?" he said. "no sir, nothing within the longsticks view sir"
"Well then, why dont you take a landing boat over and see just who out new guest is... And pray for your hide they are worth waking me up" With that he shut the door and went back to get properly dressed to meet whome ever was adrift.

Belle continued to holler and splash, she could see a large shadow traveling in her direction. She hoped it was actually a ship and not just her imagination. She dunked under the surface again, sputtering and gasping for air when she returned to the surface. When she finally got above the rolling waves and caught her breath, she shouted, "Help!"

Grimmey heard the frail call of a female voice calling for help as the boat rowed closer. He knew the captain would be happy to have a lady visitor....at least for a few hours. He reached his hand down and took the lady's hand pulling her into the small boat as he called out the orders " Turn this sea Lilly around and double time it back to the ship or ill have your liver with my eggs for breakfast you scallywags!"

Belle leaned over the edge of the small row boat coughing up sea water. She pulled sea weed out of her long blond hair, and dropped it over the side. After a couple minutes of hacking up salt water, Belle finally sat upright and calmed her self down. She looked over at the man who had pulled her out of the water, "Thank you." She was shivering, as the wind whipped around her, she tried to wring out her hair a bit then wrap her arms around her self trying to keep warm.

Grimmey looked over the lady. "we dont have no frilly dresses or fancy blouses but we will get you in some dry clothes for you on the ship."

Belle smiled, "I'd appreciate that very much," she stuttered through her chattering teeth. She saw the ship getting closer and closer, she had yet to realize that she'd been saved by pirates.

Grimmey smiled a snaggled tooth smile at her as the ship drew closer. As they came closer she it was still hard to make out the ship, it was runing under blackout. Not a single lantern was lit on deck, but she could make out figures gathering around the boat lift. Grimmey turned to her, "captain will be wanting to see you first for shure" he said as the others grabbed the ropes and fixed them to the small boat.

She she forced a small smile, "Thank you, I guess" Belle was shuddering. She was still cold but the darkened ship created a eerie feeling, she tried to settle her nerves and regain her composure. She was still holding herself with her arms to trying to shake the cold.

The boat was heaved up on deck by ropes, She could see clear enough to walk around by the moonlight on the deck. Men busseled around her, all had swords or guns on thier hips. Grimmey lead her to the captains room and he nocked on the door. "Captain, its...." He turned and looked to her, "Its a women sir"

Belle glanced around at the men, hoping she would be safe here. She quietly followed the man who recused her to what she assumed was the captain's quarters she tried to wring some of the sea water out of the bottom of her dress, while she waited for for the door to open.

The door opens swiftly with those words and the light pours out from behind the captain casting shadows on his face. "Well well well, you look quite amuster and dishevled miss. Do come in and warm yourself up." Bart stepped to the side and waved his hand to motion her inside.
