Did your band have an awesome marching show?

Was there an awesome visual that you just HAVE to show off?

See if you can get a screenie, and show off your band!

I don't know about you guys, but my favorite part of going to contests (besides performing) is seeing all the cool things that other bands do. What was their director thinking when he created this show? How does the colorguard add to the overall effect? How would I rank this band's show against mine?

So here's a virtual way to savor the good old contest feeling. Basically, post a screenshot of an awesome moment in your band's show if you can. If you can't, get a sketch of it or use your awesome skills to describe it.

Give credit where credit is due. If you can, mention the person who wrote drill for your show. If you don't know, then just say it was awesome or something. ^__^

Due to safety concerns, you don't need to post your state or high school name if you don't want to. Be sure to include the year that this particular show was performed, and where (again, for safety reasons, this is optional).

Discussion is welcomed, hoped-for, and VERY MUCH ENCOURAGED!!! Praise another group that you like and talk about how the effect strikes you.

You guys are soo good!

Its not fair, our band is tiny and pretty much unmotivated and lousy.
We did Disco Inferno this year.

It didn't suck...but its not like that.

This is our tiny, lousy, unmotivated band...in the initial of our school:

Our cheerleaders actually.
Our color guard didn't do that part of the show.
We actually played our schools Fight song at that part.
Our actual show was "Disco Inferno".
6 sets.
I loved the tiny amount of sets. blaugh

Our band doesn't usually do half-time shows, but I do have a picture of us four years ago marching in a parade. (our band has gotten bigger since then)

This is during band camp. We had a trumpet player on the sidelines injured so she was taking pictures and this is a really cool one...
