Ancient tales of old recite of a great man... a man called Heir' Kyules. Blessed with Immense strength, He rose to favor of the Mighty lord Angstrom, His first and Only avatar to that point. He slew the mighty Hydra, Tamed the monstrous griffin, and Slew a Power feeder. He alone stood against the might of 10,000 men and slew them all with naught but a wooden stave and a tortoise shell. he was mighty, but...
Even the mightiest have a weakness.
It so happened he had fallen in love with a young girl three years younger than he. He fell into sin and denied his master, his only dedication, and even attempted to slay Angstrom. Their battle shook the very skies that day, and with great sorrow, Angstrom Killed Heir' Kyules. The skies were cloudy and rainy for nigh a week after.
But before Heir' Kyules made his folly, He had made a child in the womb of the mother, blessed in the name of Angstrom, for he was still in his master's service then. This child, born on the eve of the leaving of the twelve gods, was birthed in a shower of light and glorious sounds. The mother's name was Ikari. she was nineteen.
There is a darker side to this tale, however. Though the child was born as a blessed one, with the mark of Angstrom's favor upon his newborn brow, the birth trauma killed the young mother. The child was raised in a monastery, where, ate age thirteen, he dissapeared and never was found.
Some tales say that he lived with the Reiks, and taught them many things in exchange for his life lived there. still other tales tell of him being a roving madman, a half-god who wanders the world seeking vengeance on the god that slew his father, and as far as he knew, his mother. Of course, rumors are often unfounded...
