Seeing as how AX is approaching rather quickly and how we'll be registering soon, it's time to discuss this year's group cosplay. Now we've been doing group cosplay for a while now. Freshman year was great cause people actually cosplayed. That was the year we did a Kingdom Hearts cosplay. Last year we voted on a Miyazaki cosplay, and even though various people voted on it, only 2 people cosplayed. Now of course cosplay isn't required to go to AX or anything, but it is extremely fun. I recommend that anyone who goes to AX to definately cosplay. Once we gather up ideas for the cosplays you guys want to do, then I'll put up a poll here and we'll vote on it. So now, what does everyone want to cosplay this year? Keep in mind that you will be dressed up as these characters and that you will be making your costumes as well. And if you don't know anything about cosplay, don't worry. We'll teach you.

Sailor Moon. Reason? Pretty, varied, and intresting costumes with the total lack of male characters compared to how many guys are in Anime Club. Dibs on Tuxedo Mask ninja heart

Zipper tried to imagine the Anime Club boys as Sailor Scouts.
She fell asleep.
And had a nightmare. She's serious about this part.
Okay, back to the topic of cosplay.
Zipper is doing L from Death Note. She has handcuffs. And her fellow Raito. Whose a teddy bear. Complete with tie and fake watch. [slap'd]
Maybe Sora as well.
If she can pull out $360 to get everything from Ebay/Online. .______.'
Because Zipper can't sew or make things like a good keyblade.
She's uber picky on making sure everything's right/accurate.

Hmm...
I say random video game characters. Since I have it in my head to be either Juggernaut from X-Men or Pyramid Head from Silent Hill, it doesn't matter too much what you pick.

@Zipper: Death Note would be cool 3nodding Simple cosplay, but I'm not sure if there'd be enough characters for everyone. We did KH my freshman year, so I don't mind if everyone wants to do it again. As far as actually making the costumes go, I feel your pain. Two of my cosplay outfits I've bought over the past anime expos.
@Chris: We'll be discussing transportation at an upcoming meeting. Probably after the Halo 2 tournament.

I'm out again as usual. It's easier to dodge and cut through crowds when you don't have bulk and screaming fangirls/boys dragging you down. And, oh. Let's keep Shaun away from the paper bags.

There was quite a few Pyramid Head's at AX last year that I saw.

@Zipper: I'll run a death note cosplay by the club members soon and we'll see how they respoond.
@Leon: Hmm. I mean you could come, but I don't think you'll be included in the group discount for AX. I need to talk it over with Shaun, so I can't really say anything as of yet.
