Concept: We are on a pirate boat, somewhere in the 18th century. Every now and then we attack another ship or a small town. Very boring, it seems, but yesterday, we managed to capture a princess. How will that affect our lifes?
Roles: Captain Greybeard (The_Bartner) First mate Jaffar (Sweetest Tear) Sailor Lynn (Sweetest Tear) Princess (She_Bartner) Helmsman (or Helmswoman): (Ex)-Navigator Koala: (Gemene_Koala) Cook Petite: (Craquante) (Ex)-Sailor Belial: (Belial_Dragonfly) ...
* Playing multiple roles allowed and pleased. (I suggest you use different colors for each character then) * The roles above are suggestions: we only need a captain and a princess to start. You can create another role than the ones written down. * Every role can be played by a man or a woman except the princess. * No one dies except he or she wants it him/herself!

The first mate walked around the deck with unusual cockiness about him. He was proud of the last raid they had made on another vessel. Spoils of all kinds were taken. Golds, cattle, silk, and a very beautiful and interesting princess. Looking over the deck once more, he made his way down to the cook. Entering his bulky form made the room seem even tinier then it already was. ''Cook, do you have any bread made, and perhaps some stew? I'm going to see if the princess is hungry.'' the other sailer's about the kitchen snickered, for they all thought the princess was beautiful and that the first mate wasn't thinking of her stomach.

While the cook was taking something, captain greybeard enterred the kitchen too. "What an enthousiasm to feed that girl. I assume you don't want her to bear something, do you?" He walked towards the bread that the cook prepared and took some. "How tasty, fresh bread, you can bring it all to my place, I'm hungry too." And with a slight look to his first mate, he continued: "If she really needs food, she can always have some moulded old bread" and with a mean look to the cook, "the same you mostly give us to eat." He looked at everyone in the room, one by one before he turned around and left. "Don't spoil her in ANY way..."

Glaring at the captain as he left the galley, he debated ignoring his words or not. Looking around the room, he knew that only two of the three men in there were loyal to him. The other one would run and snitch at first opportunity. For he didn't like the first mate for having received a flogging a few months earlier over something. Turning to the cook "Since we had such a successful raid on that last ship, how long will we be able to have fresh bread, before we start running low on supplies again?" he asked innocently.

Approaching the first mate, Lynn smiled. "I wouldn't push your luck with the captain, Jaffar. He hasn't been in the nicest mood lately." Being a sailer under their captain wasn't the best job, but she thought the last raid would have put him in a better mood.

Meanwhile, in the hold, the princess tried to free herself once more. She didn't get any food for a few days now and she hardly had any power left.
Not that it would have made any difference. The iron chains attached around her wrists for example, didn't show a single spot of rust. They were brandnew, never used before she, unvolountary, entered the ship. They locked her hands above her head, in a very uncomfortable way so she wouldn't be able to remove the cloth stuffed in her mouth.
"Why the gag?" She asked herself time after time. Nobody would hear her scream except the pirates themselves. But it had been the captain and nobody but the captain himself that had chained her here and with a sadistic smile gagged her before he left her all alone.
Since that moment, all she wished was the slightest sign of compassion, but since then, nobody came.

Watching everyone slowly scurry out the galley, Jaffar looked at the cook. "You keep your mouth shut about this." He said taking a small loaf of bread and some thin stew in a bowl covered with a cloth. "It's bad enough she has to be changed in this forsaken ship, she doesn't need to be starved as well." He gave the cook a withering look. The cook new better then to cross him.
Heading to the door of the galley, Jaffar looked around. Seeing that no one was around he headed for the prison of sorts. Quickly he unlocked the cell door. Letting himself in, he partly closed it. Turning around he looked at the girl who sat there chained. Going over, he set the food down on the floor. Turning back to her he undid the gag, and unlocked the chains. "I've brought you some food, m'lady." Jaffar whispered softly.

Meanwhile, the captain had been drinking rhum until he was to drunk to act normal. At that moment, he decided it was time to take a look at the princess. He stumbled across the deck, giving everyone that look at him an evil look and a fiercy grumble. He opened the door and forgot there were stairs. Under loud cursing, greybeard ended up laying on the floor in the hold, his bruised head exactly two feet away from the prison door.

She looked at him is disbelief and started rubbing her wrists. 'Finally someone that cared for her?' She opened and closed her mouth a few times to stretch her jaws after being gagged for such a long time. "Thank you" She wanted to say, but her tongue and lips were so dry that nothing was heared. She licked them and looked again at him, a small tear appearing in her eyes.
Although it was dark, you could easily see how young she was. 20 years old at most, but probably younger. She started crying, feel on her knees before him and grabbed his feet. "Please, get me out of here, please." Her blond hairs covered her face when she lay there at his feet.
At that moment, the sounds of someone falling of the stairs was heared.

He had forgot to bring water. Had could he be so dumb, oh well. The soup would have to do. He knelled down and gently picked her up. Sitting her against the wall, he moved the hair back from her face. "Try and eat this" He whispered at the moment when the sound was heard. Getting up, he turned around and went out the prison door, almost stepping on the captains head. Leaning over, he examined the captain. Trying to decided if he was conscious or not. "Sir, are you alright?" He gently shook his shoulder. "Hey somebody get down here and help me! The captains taken a fall!" He yelled up the hold.

She takes the food and doubts because of the noise heard. But when you got out, she starts eating anyway, very slowly because her throat hurts a bit. She shivers and looks at the door the whole time, very uncomfortable with the situation.

*Greybeard starts mumbling, then grumbling and finally starts to move. He has quite a massive body and it takes him so time to turn around.* "Alright, alright, fine, everything is fine." *He stands up, with Jaffar's help and starts grumbling again.* "Where were we?" *He asks with a voice clearly representing the alcohol in his blood.* "Jaffar, what are you doing here?" *He pushes his first mate aside and wants to open the door to the princess' cell.*

Lynn had heard Jaffar's call and came running to the cell. She watched the captain stand up and saw what was going on. Making a rash decision she shouts to the captian "Sir! There's a large cargo ship off the starboard side. Come take a look! It looks like a good one!" it was the only thing she could think of to deter the captain from seeing what Jaffar had done.

Jaffar was relieved when Lynn suddenly appeared. He had been worried how he was going to hid the food he had given the princess. As he listened to her he began to wonder if it was a lie. Well, he's drunk enough, he might not know the difference. "A large cargo ship? Come on Captain" he said slapping his back as old friends would do. "This could be another good raid! Lets check it out." He was hoping the captain would go.

*He grumbled loudly when he heard Lynn scream.* "Does it have to be now..." *He wasn't in the mood for a raid, but he knew if he let go and there wasn't a new ship for days, his crew might become very unsatisfied. He was a very severe captain, so mutiny was always possible, surely if Jaffar would stand up against him, so he decided it was better to take a look at the deck.* "I'm coming, get my telescope." *He started to climb up again, a lot slower than how he came down.*
