Everybody keeps saying about how they want ShikaIno to become as a canon. And then it hit me...HOW will they become canon?
What I mean is...how do you know when they become together. Does it happen with a kiss? A hug? A little slip of the tongue? How can we see it when it happens? What do you think will tell us "they're going to be together now! YAY!"
Discuss here, and don't hesitate to make some guesses.

Anything worthy of Us, the shikaIno fans, being able to go "HA!! WE WIN!" to the ShikaTema fans ;D
A hug, kiss, Shikamaru saving Ino (or vise versa ;D) anything cool like that would be "OMG CANNON!!!" worthy.

This is how I want it to happen. Post-Timeskip:

"I only live for one reason, and that is revenge."
Sasuke Uchiha turned away from Ino and headed down the path of revenge and death.
"Sasuke..."
Ino watched the Uchiha ninja walk away as he goes off to seek revenge on his brother Itachi Uchiha. As tears feel down her cheeks, a shadow crept up on her. Turning her sight to the shadow, she reconized the familar jounin apperal of the one lazy Shikamaru Nara.
"Ino..."
Shikamaru's eyes lowered into a saddened expression as he watched the blonde ninja silently cry. Rain began to fall as they stood in the darkness of the village streets. Inhaling a sigh, Shikamaru reached out and grabbed Ino's hand.
"Shikamaru...?"
And as the rain fell down and mixed her Ino's tears, Shikamaru tried his best to dry her eyes from the tears of a broken heart.
"I can't be your Sasuke...." Shikamaru leaned in closer to Ino who stood still eyes wide, "...but I can be your Shikamaru."
And with that said, he leaned in and placed a kiss on her lips. With no resistance, Ino pressed into the kiss as the frame froze and and the episode ended.

Well, this is just my opinion but it was kinda proven ((in my opinion)). When Shikamaru was watching Inos body for her when they were in the forest of death, Ino got cut while in Kins body and Shikamaru got extremely worried when he saw Ino bleeding, but thats just my opinion.
But, honestly, I agree with Redneck Otakus theory of how it will happen. Either that or Ino will get really angry and to calm her down, Shikamaru will kiss Ino and realize he likes it and then they will kiss again, this time Ino kissing him first and then they will walk away into the sunset. Or..... Ino will be crying and wake Shikamaru up and Shikamaru will say "may, what a drag," and go over and comfort Ino and Ino will look at Shikamaru and confuess she loves him and that she is giving up on Sasuke.

I could see a hug, since I think a kiss might be too much for a FIRST moment; like she's out of her body or something, and the enemy like restrains the body she's in so that she can't release and like, almost kills her, shika to the rescue, and when she get back to her own body, a tight hug, maybe some crying, and an 'i-was-so-scared-i-was-gonna-lose-you' moment. ^^
