Damn good movie. The movie is set in 1944 facist Spain. It centers around a little girl who has moved to the country with her mother, who has recently married a captain after the death of her previous husband. The girl, Ofelia, begins to invent a world of fantasy, centered in a labrynth in the woods. It was reallly an amazing movie. It was also remarkably fluid. At times I found myself forgetting there were subtitles (It's in Spanish in case you don't know). I give it a very high recommendation.

This movie was Awsome and beautifull and i think it should with out a doubt win all six of Academy Award Nominations!!! I Love how its like a Fantacy movie for adults!!

It was more than great! It was Amazing! Fantastic! and really really sad!! Everyone should see this movie!!

honor_is_golden i loved it i just an amazing movie.. so sad thought I know! the ending was the saddest. and when he beat up the Studdering guy. I really cried at that.

Such a moving story line, the fantasy creatures looked awesome, I loved the Fawn 3nodding Yeah the Fawn was awsome, i'm glad it won best make up (in the Academy Awards) But it should have won best forigen film!!! xCCC I was soo mad that it lost to some German film and the guy who whent up to get the award wasn't even Germen!!! But the make up was awsome. Like the Pale man too!! He was really cool till he ate the fairies!!!

I didn't get it on DVD yet for myself but I did get the two disk special edition for my boyfriend, his birthday is on the 22nd so I can watch his copy at least xd
