I've been home sick with some stupid cold or flu for a while.
I was almost better so I was able to have my birthday party.
My friend was sick.
She came over.
She got me sicker.
And now the school is sending me a formal notice about my absences.

Not a problem. Ashy knows how un-fun it is to be sick. Last school year, in mid-April, I was freezing cold and feeling freakishly miserable all day for no apparent reason. So I went to the nurse. Had a 102-point-something-degree fever, so she sent me home. While I was waiting for Dad to pick me up, I freaked out and thought I had somehow contracted bird flu and was going to die. Went home, stayed there for two days, felt like crap. Not fun at all.
Yeah, I don't wish sickness upon anyone....

Wow.
I've been out of school for two weeks with whatever I've got.
My mom just said that she'll probably take me to the doctors if it doesn't break soon.
