I've been having this reoccurring dream since I was about eleven. It's always been nearly the same except one time.
Basically I see a lot of deaths - always different ones - that are very graphic and gruesome. They often include small children though not always. There's at least one child related death per night. I'm not the one killing them because I see the people that are though sometimes I don't. After a while I die. I'm not sure if I'm killed or just suddenly die for no reason but once I die I end up in this office building. One time it was a ship but that one was a little different because it included some cartoon characters. o_O
Once I end up in the building I wander around for the rest of the dream unable to find the door I'm supposed to be going through. Then when I can't find it I try to go back to the entrance and leave but can't find that door either. So I usually wake up still lost in the building.
One year on Samhain though I did make it out. I was about fifteen or sixteen I think. And when I did the sun burned my eyes. They filled with tears and I couldn't open them for even a few seconds. It was one of those things that are so realistic you can actually feel the pain when you wake up. Anyways, I kept trying to tell people about what happened but no one would listen to me. They just kept saying I was blind. And the more I protested that I wasn't blind the more they said I was.
I'm not sure what it means but I get the feeling it has something to do with the after life. I think that's what the building's supposed to represent anyways. I'm not sure on everything else though. Anyone have any ideas??
