Description:
Genji's face remains mostly expressionless, but a keen sense of awareness is always present in his watchful blue eyes. A thin scar runs down his left cheek, apparently the result of a not-so-recent duel. All of his movements are deliberate, swift, and quiet with never a wasted motion.
Personality:
Genji is usually pretty easy to get along with, once you get to know him and he rarely holds a grudge. The problem is, sometimes it can be quite a task to get to know him. He pretty much keeps to himself ever since the death of his mother, estranging himself from his former life and friends. Now he's mostly a solitary soul, and not the type to carry on meaningless conversations or small talk.
History:
Born in a small town in Esther, Genji later moved to Sialis with his mother at the age of 6. Due to this fact, he got a late start in his schooling, but he quickly began to surpass most of the students in his grade. At the age of 8 he began learning the art of katana sword-fighting at a martial arts dojo after school. He was definitely a fast learner and became one of his teacher's favorite students. As his schooling and sword training continued over the next few years his skill improved greatly, and at the age of 16 he developed a unique skill he calls Waterblade. By the time he was 20 he was a master swordsman and had perfected his Waterblade technique. Around that time, the teacher of the dojo he had been training at was retiring and offered Genji the position. Genji refused. He was going through a tough time in his life, having lost his mother the year before, so he set off on his own. He has spent the last 9 years of his life selling his skill as a mercenary to earn only what he needed to get by. Now, after years of thought and self-discovery, he has finally chosen a path for himself and vowed to become the greatest swordsman Terra has ever seen...
Motivation/Goal:
Genji's goal is to become an unequalled swordsman. By learning more Archane techniques which compliment or enhance his swordplay, he plans to train his body and mind to integrate his Archane skills as second nature just like he has achieved with his mastery of the swords.
He makes his living as a mercenary, a sword for hire, and will take almost any job if the price is right.

Genji is a master swordsman, and specially trained in dual-wielded sword-fighting. The second sword will usually remain sheathed until really needed.
Abilities:
1. Waterblade. Genji has the ability to bind water to his weapons, giving them many beneficial effects. One main benefit is the ability to extend the length of his blades by controlling the water, effectively molding the water into a razor sharp blade edge extending from the tip of either katana. Although the Waterblades can slice and pierce flesh effortlessly, they are useless against bone and steel.
2. Archane Speed. Genji can also increase his speed by harnessing the Archane, giving him lightning quick movements and reflexes for a short duration.
3. Archane Jump. By using the power of the Archane to temporarily augment the strength of his legs, he can--if he chooses to--jump twice the height and distance that he normally could. (Approx. twice his body height)
