Well, I don't know much, obviously, but I listened to a little Oi punk today, and heard that some bands are "WHITE POWER".
So, is the whole genre "WHITE POWER" or just specific bands?

Oh HELL no. Oi does definatley not = white power. Most oi apolitical. Now, if you start getting into RAC or "Rock Against Communism" bands, that's where you start getting into some shady right winged and nazi s**t.
What oi band were you listening to?

Only a very small niche is WP bullshit. Most of it is Apolitical trad Oi or SHARP Oi.
Try picking up;
The Business
Pressure point
Oxblood
Angelic Upstarts
Sham 69
Blood For Blood
Anti-Heros
The Bruisers
The 4-skins
I am sure Logan will come in and add more to my list. I am drawing a blank. I listen mostly to Ska and reggae.

PyroBiker Blink 182 is my favorite Oi! band. I just vomited in my mouth when I read that, then laughed nervously because I'm 98% positive you didn't mean that... Oi was an offshoot of punk that followed the skinhead revival in the late 70's early 80's. Oi is what others would simply have called Street Punk back then, seeing as the lyrics are agressive and are oriented towards the working class (street punk has now become something different and a little bit stupid). Although Oi! is a type of punk the main following has been by skinheads. good, if not amazingly awesome Oi! bands include: The Templars The Glorystompers Tattooed ******** Thugs Sham 69 c**k Sparrer 4Skins Infa-Riot Splodge The Strike Last Resort The Opressed The Butchers Southpaw Manners Crucial Change Brassknuckle 7 American Defense The Business Angelic Upstarts The Bruisers Deadline Cobra Pilsner Oiquell Stomper 98 Operace Ataban and much much more. If you lived near me I'd burn you a bunch of s**t, but you don't. So I suggest you buy the compilation Strength Through Oi!... it's good.

So I looked it up on Wiki (lol always right) and they said here were some nazi/white power s**t. So, I figured I'd ask here to make sure. @Charlie: I've heard of Sham 69 and The 4-skins, none of the others, though. But I'll look into them. :] @Potato: Thanks a lot. : D.

So I looked it up on Wiki (lol always right) and they said here were some nazi/white power s**t. But I'll look into them. :] @Potato: Thanks a lot. : D. yeah, you can usually pick the bonehead s**t based on the way it sounds. No Remorse was nice sounding and catchy, but bands like Jewslaughter (honestly...I mean really, come on) suck d**k.
