simple rules, eh?
notes: I put the chapters in seperate so people can quote and add on to the story.
original charactors: Dark, Krad, *Rika
made up charactors: Daiichi the second= named after is great grandfather, son of Diasuke, he is Dark's new host, he is more confident than Diasuke, and likes to take things head on.
Sora: great great grandson of Satoshi, yet he doesn't know he is a Hikari, because he is an orphan, He is Krad's new host, but he doesn't know what Krad is or what is happening. He likes to take things slow, and is always reading.
*Rika: Dark's love and Riza ands Riku's former grandmother, although she loves dark. She has come back from the dead by finding a way to make herself like Dark - to infuse herself in her bloodline.
Riana: a girl who lives in the country, because they moved away from the city to get away from Dark, her mother hated him. She is the host of Rika.
* Rika had a small role in the original sieries, but was not really a charactor with personality, hence the version of rika in my story is both new and old, since i gave her a big role, and she is one of my main charactors.

Chapter one: Rika
I have been dead for many years, and I miss my love, Dark. And there is no hope for us to meet again, for he will never truely die.
I have been working on a way to intertwine my D.N.A into my bloodline, as Dark has done.
And now, I have finnally succeeded. How long has it been? a thousand years?
Rika closed her journal. She knew once she drank the potion, she would leave the paradise, possibly forever. But it was not paradise, not with knowing that her love would never meet with her again.
A tear dripping down her cheek, she gulped it down.
And her adventure with Dark began.

Chapter two: Riana
I ran through the road, I was late! The school bell was going to ring, the headmaster always tugged the rope of the bell at 5:00 it was 4:50. I slept in! My muscles in my legs burned in agony, but I had to keep running. The school was a mile away! How could I make it in time?
I seering pain suddenly struck me, and everything was hot. since everyone was in the feilds of the farm, no one would help me. My short hair suddenly grew and turned silver. I felt it suddenly droop over my shoulders. I got up, and looked at myself. I wasn't me. I was prettier, taller, and my hair was silver, like fresh fallen snow.
More pain! A pair of silver wings ripped out of my back, I felt the skin and muscle tear and rip. The blood-damp wings were beautiful, when they dried out. And I felt my consience being pushed back, as somthing else took control.
And I looked through my eyes,
I could not move.
Some one else was moving for me.
And yet it was some one i knew.

Chapter three: Rika
My eyes shut tight, a seering pain went through me, as if my very being was being ripped apart, then puched through a needle, being sewn into another being, whitch i guessed was my great-great-great-grandaughter. Possibly more greats were to be added, it was difficult to keep track of time in the paradise.
My eye opened, well, the eyes of the body i was borrowing. I looked back, and silver wings met my view. WHO ARE YOU? It was the voice of the oringinal spirit of the body. I am Rika, possibly your great great great grandmother. My name is Riana. A woman ran up to me, and screaming "DEMON FOUL ONE LEAVE OUR VILLAGE NOW!" M-mother? Riana's voice in the back of my mind cried. "GO! GO JOIN THE OTHER ONE IN THE CITY! LEAVE NOW!" The sub-consience of Riana was in my mind's eye, and she was sobbing.
"WE MOVED TO THE COUNTRY TO BE RID OF YOU MONSTERS. AND MY OWN DAUGHTER HAS BECOME ONE. LEAVE NOW!" MOM! MOM WHAT'S WRONG IT'S ME! RIANA! no, it's me she hates. we should go get the aid of the Niwa family.they will accept me, ecpecially since dark is there. my wings opened and Riana screamed in agony GET OUT GET OUT LET ME STAY I WANT TO STAY! a tear went down my own cheek. I never wanted to seperate a mother and child. It's too late now. direct me to the city.
And reluctantly , Riana and I landed at the Niwa family's doorstep.
A boy with red hair was there he opened the door.
As he stared at me.
He started to glow.
and suddenly, I fell into my lover's arms.

chapter four; Dark
Daichii opened the door he was named after his great great grandfather, Daichii son of Daisuke. He was a good kid, I wish i could see him again.
Once he opened the door i couldn't believe what i saw. An angel of Rika was at the door. How? It was impossible, and the relitives from the Harada family in this life hated me.
Tears falling from her eyes, Daiichi turned into me, and she fell into my arms, sobbing. Dark, who is that? It-it's Rika. NO WAY, the girl you used to love? correction, the girl I LOVE "Wh-what happened? is it my turn to die?' I laughed. "And you are the angel that will guide me to heaven." I embraced her. "Oh Dark, you havn't changed." she said between tears.
We brought her inside, Ignoring the eyes of the nieghbors stareing at the angel at our door.

Chapter 5; Krad (I think)
The blonde hadn't much to do over the past few decades of his 'life', and he found, now, that with his new host, Sora, things were much like they used to be. The boy was boring, rarely even wanting to quarrel with the blonde (which had always been one of Krad's favorite activities), and always had his nose in a book.
The boy, while not exactely a genius as his old Master Satoshi had been (for Krad remembered everything about every host he'd ever had), he was certainly on his way to becoming a fine intellectual.
He let out a sigh in the back of the boy's mind, prodding the other's concious. ' Master Sora,' he would complain, ' I'm bored.'
When the boy replied, the blonde was quite pleased. 'Then do something. Leave me alone.' Ah, such affection.
That was when a striking pain shot through the blonde, even from the back of Sora's mind. Clearly, Dark had manifested. And he had a friend. Krad made no apology when he took control over the blue-haired Sora's body and stalked out the door toward the Niwa residence.
He hated living so close to Dark...but he loved it, too. It was always so convenient when he decided to visit that little Niwa boy and scare him half to death in the middle of the night.
The blonde, polite as ever, knocked on the door and waited, a feather concealed in his sleeve. He was never bothered the stares the neighbors would give him; he never cared. Humans would be humans, and who was he to stop them from staring? He waited.

Chapter six: Sora
I was out for a walk one day, and I was going to visit my friend, Daiichi. Sora, why are you friends with the red-head twerp again? Great. The voice in my head again, Krad.Because, I've known him since... forever. I said, pivately. But you're totally different, and have nothing in common. He was trying to make me fight with him. Again. Well, that's what makes it interesting. Then i swore i heard him say Darn.
I do not know who or what Krad is, same thing with my family bloodline, see, I'm an orphan and I was adopted by Daiichi's neibors, when i was a little kid. I haven't told them about Krad yet. Suddenly a feather fell from the sky. It was a beautiful, silver feather, soft and smooth. I looked up and saw an angel, that landed clumsilly on the Niwa doorstep. I hid behind a bush and listened. A man with black hair hugged her and kissed her. Who was she? I gripped the feather tight. Who is she... whispered Krad Sora, who is she? I don't know... and that man... That man looks like you Let me out, Sora Krad said, Let. me. out.

Chapter Seven: Krad
And come out, he did. Krad grinned, feeling as lovely as always. And he was after Dark in less than a moment. He drioped his manners, and despite Sora's pleading, stormed into the house. It took only a moment to find Dark, still with the woman in his arms in the living room.
He recognized the woman. 'Rika? But she's dead', he thought. "No matter," he said aloud, drawing out a feather. "Dark, this is the end. One of us will not make it out of this alive. I am so very tired of all of this, so let us end it, now."
He glared at the theif, charging his magic.

Chapter 8: Dark
I took Rika to the living room, she was tired from the flight. "Where did you come from?" I asked. "I mean why are you here?" Rika was half asleep, and seemed to mumble, "I came from... the paradise..." I was shocked. "the paradise? You mean... heaven. no don't tell me you left heaven just for me." Rika smiled, "I missed you." Dark, I know you are busy there and all but I would inform you too... LOOK OUT THE WINDOW! I looked out the window, and i saw Krad. as he broke through the glass, and proclaimed the fight. I swiftly lay Rika on the bed and took out a feather. and threw it at him, I heard a groan, and in the corner of my eye i saw Rika get up, tired as she was, and she threw one of her silver feathers at him, as it sparkled through the air, i swore it looked like a knife right before it hit Krad.

Chapter Nine: Sora
Krad gave out a gasp of pain, though summoned another feather. He charged each of them, and Sora felt his body weakening. "Why do you always do this?" He asked to the blonde, who gave no response.
"I mean," the boy added, "It's not like you're ever going to win. He's better than you, and you know it. And now he's got a companion."
Krad paused, and Sora felt the shock--and hurt, it would seem--course through the blonde. Not that Sora cared how the blonde felt, so he continued. "Why don't you just give up? How many times are you going to fight him? This is the second time in the past month, you know. Have you ever actually won?"
Krad yelled, aloud, "Shut up! You don't understand!" He focused his attention back to Dark and Rika, and gave a light curse as the girl's feather pierced his flesh.
She was strong. And it hurt. It hurt worse than Dark's magic. He initially aimed his feather's towards her, but changed his mind. What did he care of the girl? It was Dark he was after. He fired a mass of energy towards the theif, knowing that it would be nearly impossible to dodge.
"I hate you all," he said, under his breath. "Even you, Master Sora!"
The boy shrugged in the back of the blonde's mind. "I don't care."
Krad shut his mouth and glared at where Dark stood--or, at least, where he had been standing a moment ago.

Chapter ten: Rika
I felt power. Pure power when i threw that feather. I continued to throw. Krad looked mad. He meant business i would miss at occasions, but i would often hit his arm or leg. "What is this Dark? Your little love? How long has she been here she must have been in hiding for years to be this strong!" Dark smiled, Krad was bluffing. "Oh no Kraddie-boy." He said while flying at him, "She just got here."

Chapter Eleven: Krad
The blonde scowled, taking a brief second to check over himself. He was covered in little cuts from those cursed feathers. Blood stained his clothes, but he didn't care. He liked the color...just not on him.
"That's hardly fair," he said to Dark. "Two against one? Where did she get her power?"
The blonde, certainly one for idle chit-chat in the heat of battle, drew up a sheild with his magic. He couldn't hold it for longer than a few moments, but it was certainly impenetrable. He drew out a feather while he was protected in the sheild and flopped to the floor, crosslegged, while he started to work at healing himself.
He wasn't the least bit phased at the fact that he was sitting in the household of his enemy, so he cast a curious glance at the girl. "Rika," he said, boredly. "I remember you. Back when Daikii was his host. What are you doing here?"
Sora listened in, curious on the conversation. Maybe he would finally get some answers...?

chapter 12: Sora
"Krad!" yelled Dark, "Rika, don't answer, you don't need to." but Rika stepped up and said, "No, I will tell him. I made a potion to get me here." Krad sneered "One try?" Rika shook her head, "no hundreds, sure there were... side effects, like one that made me stronger and... others." Krad, for once was intrigued, "Others?" Rika sighed "Natural disasters, like storms and lightning hitting people. I was shocked, my memory raced, to when he was three, He was walking with his birth mother and father... and Lightning! lightning hit them! burned them! It was her, that girl. Who killed his parents. Krad knew, i felt it, my rage and anger fueled his power. Well, well well, Little Sora, are you on my side now? Yes. I am on your side.I knew it would happen. now let us fight as one.

Chapter Thirteen: Krad
Krad grinned and rose from his position on the floor. Having fully healed himself, he was eager to fight again. "Rika Harada. You have killed my tamer's parents. I will not stand for such unjustice."
From within the shield he had created, he summoned his most powerful spell--fused a good portion of his magic and his tamer's, combining them into one. It had been a long time since he was granted into the reserve of a tamer's magic, and he was thrilled as adrenaline pumped through his cold veins.
He lowered the sheild, and fired his spell and Rika, though how dearly he wished he could have aimed it at Dark. 'As my tamer wishes,' he thought, knowing that if Rika was dead, Dark's morale would drop.
