After a hard day at work, it's good to have a small quarrel with anyone here. You either vent your frustration or get revenge on your evil twin brother.

The doors to the roof opened slowly. Booted footsteps filled the air as a young looking female stepped out, following the spiralling slope. Pausing before the final turn, her eyes slid to look out at the city. A smile flickered over her lips, as she turnt to pace up the ramp to the top. Her eyes slid over the broken statues boredly, as she moved to one and leant against it, crossing her arms to await a challange.

The air shimmered faintly for a moment next to En, giving the only warning of what was about to transpire. Space calmed itself again, for another moment, before a portal opened and a single black boot stepped through, a strange mist enshrouding it. This was followed by a leg clothed in a fine brown leather. The man's torso was wrapped in an elegant violet vest and a matching coat that reached down to the tops of his theighs. It was form fitting and made him look very dashing. His hair was an unusual sight too, pure white and long enough to fall down his back and a fringe that stopped just short of covering his eyes, which were a similarly unusual sight. Silvery, they twinkled when he moved and the light reflected off them. The man had fully finished exiting the portal and looked around before saying smoothly, "There is little battle in an area apparently so devoted to it. Perhaps I might be able to rectify this."

An arrow of green light came out of nowhere and went past Gilver's head. "Actually, we can both fix that." A young woman stepped forward, a small sphere of green light in her left hand. She was dressed in a white tank top and brown leather pants, which complimented her slim figure. Sometimes, it made someone wonder how she would carry the missile launcher on her back with her small frame. Light brown hair was up in a ponytail, her bangs almost covered her emerald eyes. A long katana-like blade was placed on her hip diagonally behind her back. She took one of her handguns and twirled it around on her finger. "Let's give them a battle, shall we?"

Gilver's eyes lit up as he saw the girl who sent the strange energy arrow at him. Her looks were most pleasing to the eye. The rocket launcher and gun just made her even more appealing. He stepped forward, approaching the girl and looking her up and down, a smile spreading on his face as he replied seductively, "I believe we can." With that said, another portal opened to the right of him and he reached into it, drawing from it a rapier with winglike handguard in a jet black scabbard. Closing the portal he threw it into the air and slid the strap over his body so the sword was resting lightly on his left hip as he drew the blade. The craftmanship was outstanding, with decorative dragons dancing down from tip to hilt. Gilver then shifted his weight, placing his left arm behind his body and crouching slightly, with his left leg back and right forward, his body pivoted so his right shoulder faced the girl. He gave a small flourish and salute before pointing the tip of the blade directly toward her heart and asked, "Shall we begin?"

"You first." She said, taking two fingers and moving the blade out of the way. "Also, watch where you point that thing. You could poke someone's eye out." She said, whipping her handgun and pulling the trigger.

Gilver grinned and quickly pulled his body to the right, flicking his head out of the bullet's path, leaving the projectile to harmlessly fly through his long hair. Straight away he flicked out, aiming to strike Rina with the tip of his blade to distract her by causing a tiny, shallow cut. This was also to keep her busy while he finished moving himself into position to strike her properly. Bringing the blade around he planted his feet on the ground, steadying his stance, and drove his body forward, extending his arm to try and plunge the sword directly through her body.

The half angel raised her blade and blocked the attack, the opponent's sword tip on the flat part of her blade. "Nice try!" she said, pointing a gun to the man's head. She pulled the trigger and fired.

From atop a pillar came a low chuckle, directed at the two combatants. "My, but you move slowly, you two! Are you caught in molasses, perhaps? I think that's how the expression goes..."
Perched there, Senal sat with her legs crossed, cupping her chin in one hand. The demoness sighed and tilted her head at the two below. If anything, she appeared almost bored with the proceedings. "You two've got more in you than this. If you don't pick up the pace, I will be forced to get down there and make you pick it up." She paused, a smirk on her lips. "But then again, you'd like that, wouldn't you?"

A quiet whooshing sound flew by the pillar upon which Senal stood, followed by a quiet clink of a crossguard meeting with its sheath. A few metres away, stood a man in a long blue coat, a small dust cloud having been kicked up by his halt. He stood with his feet shoulder width apart in knee length brown boots and held an O-katana in its sheath in his left hand. The last tip of the blade shined out as it was fully placed within the sheath, which was timed perfectly as the pillar began to slide apart and fall. Not turning to see what happened, the man quietly said in a dangerous tone, "My son does not want his battle interrupted Senal. Any desire to fight you have can be vented upon me. If you're willing to risk your life over such petty matters."
Edit, from Sen: Ver, how'd a 'u' usurp the rightful place of an 'e' in 'interrupted'? Tsk, tsk. *Teasing.* <3

When the pillar's dust settled, Senal was out of sight for but a moment. A mere whisper of boot upon floor gave away her position -- just beside Vergil, hand reaching to touch his shoulder. The demoness' already considerable prowess had recently been honed, and she was quite itching to test it out against someone worthy. Amber eyes glinted mischievously, and she smirked.
"Ooh, Daddy's getting all protective," she breathed in his ear. Such closeness -- yet she'd seen Vergil in action more than enough times to know how fast he could move. This was a high risk to take, to be sure; Senal had to have a good reason to believe she could sustain the consequences. "But you're right..." She paused, hand slipping from his shoulder, sounding resigned.
Immediately, a sword hilt shot for the halfblood's side, fully intent upon a rib; so swift was it, barely even visible. Her grip was loose, hand acting as guide rather than support for the blade. Compared to before-- No, there was no comparison; Senal had improved drastically. Timing, technique and fury were all honed enough to make a razor seem dull. Her absence had done her much good.
"...I do need to stretch," she finished with a cheshire grin. Had a few of her teeth gotten sharper, or was it just that she grinned too rarely to show it?

The silver haired hybrid didn't move an inch despite the attack being made upon him. It was simply unnecessary. Instead a small flash of strange, turquiose flame erupted around him as a set of summoned swords appeared in a Sword Shield formation. The tips of the blades facing down and rotating, crackling with energy made them an excellent defence against even a high speed attack. The hilt was intercepted by one of these and although it shattered the force of the impact would undoubtedly throw the succubus off balance.
Vergil then turned and faced Senal, making eye contact. He changed the formation of the swords into that of a Blistering Storm, each blade moving independantly and of it's own will in erratic and random patterns. Vergil decided to not exercise control over the energetic swords, knowing that if he did Senal would likely be able to read their patterns and predict where an attack would be made. This way there was a real element of chaos, making it that much more difficult to evade. "It is not wise to use me as a stretching post" he said coldly, "But I will try to not cut you down too much. Perhaps you can force me into moving, or using Yamato; I've been meaning to test my skill and control of my Summoned Swords. Come on." As he finished his taunt the Blistering Storm surrounding Senal fired off in rapid succession, from all sides.
