Magen: Jubaku Satsu (Demonic Illusion: Tree Blind Death- With this jutsu, the user can make themselves disappear so that they can approach their opponent unnoticed. Once near the desired target, a tree will grow at the target's feet and branches from an illusory tree will bind them from behind so that they are unable to even move or use hand seals. Once the opponent believes that they are captured, the user can then reappear from above the tree and quickly kill the opponent.

Fire Dragon Flame Missle-A mixed elemental technique which follows up the Earth Elemental, Dragon missile. The user then spits out a flame of fire to engulf the earth missiles to turn them into fire missiles and bombard the opponent.
water dragon blast-Creates a large dragon shape formed from a large amount of spinning water. The dragon form is sent towards your opponent for a powerful attack. This jutsu can only be performed when near a large body of water.

pohinex fire justu- A technique where the user blows multiple fire balls from his mouth. It can also be combined with throwing weapons, which creates weapons engulfed in flames.
lightning edge- A secret move for assassination purposes. Its secret lies in the speed of the thrust, and the activation of the body to generate a large amount of Chakra. He then concentrates that large amount into the thrusting arm and rushes towards the opponent. This ability causes the body to speed up, and therefore making the attack more deadly. It emits a distinct chirping sound similar to a thousand birds (=Chidori) chirping. It's Kakashi's only original move, and it's said that he once cut through lightning with it, hence its alias: Lightning Edge. Since straight movement is easily countered by the opponent, it's used in combination with the Sharingan
dragon fire-A powerfull technique which will surround the user by flames. Out of those flames comes a very powerfull beam of fire.
water clone-Creates clones composed of water. When hit, it automatically dissolves and returns back into shapeless water. This one is capable of attacking. The clone has 1/10 of the power of the original. It can only be controlled while still in a certain radius of the user.
Genesis of Rebirth-The user stores unused chakra. This chakra becomes compressed and sealed away in the body. When in need, the user can bring forth the stored charka for whatever purpose he or she wants it for. In Tsunade's case, she uses the stored chakra to instantly heal herself. Not only can the stored chakra heal every single organ in her body, it can also regenarate tissue that was destroyed. Tsunade also comments that because this technique uses her chakra to regenarate, she will "never die in battle." Shizune comments in her mind that there actually IS a limit to how much Tsunade can regenarate. She also lets us know that "to hasten healing is to shorten one's lifespan!"
body substitute-It's implied in the name. The user switches his or her body with a plant, animal or anything for that matter. This is used to escape dangerous situations such as many sharp projectiles being flung at the person. Sometimes you can damage your opponent with this attack even.
fire dragon-A jutsu that sends a stream of fire towards the opponent, in the shape of a large dragon, from the users mouth
rasengan-The user swirls the air in there hand into a sphere, and mold it with Chakra. They then attack the opponent with it, which will usally cause them to go flying backwords, spinning around. Sometimes the attack will burn the opponent where they are hit by it.

Ninjutsu Techniques:
Water Clone Technique-This jutsu creates one or more identical copies of the user out of water. Like the Shadow Clone Technique, these clones are capable of attacking and using jutsu, but they are easier to defeat because they are only one-tenth of the user's power. Additionally, they can only be controlled within a certain distance of the user.

Water Release: Exploding Water Shockwave-Using this jutsu, the user can spit a massive amount of water from their mouth. This technique was used by Kisame to cover a significant portion of a desert with water while engaging Might Guy and his team. The water can then be used for other water-based jutsu.

Water Release: Water Dragon Blast Technique-Using this jutsu, the user creates a huge current of water in the form of a serpentine dragon and directs it towards a target. The water used to create the dragon must be present to perform the technique. This technique requires 54 hand seals to perform, more than five times that of almost every other jutsu in the series.

Water Release: Water Fang Bullet-This jutsu creates a circle of crushing water spikes around the opponent.

Water Release: Water Shark Missile Technique-This jutsu utilizes water to attack the enemy with a powerful water burst in the form of a shark.

Water Release: Huge Explosion Technique-This jutsu creates an enormous, inescapable maelstrom to trap and drown the target.

Water Release: Concentrated Water Spike-The Second Hokage creates a massive whirlpool, which sucks in his opponent. Skating along the outside, he jumps and sends a huge water spike into the center of the whirlpool, crushing the opponent.

Water Release: Great Whirlpool Entwining Technique-Kisame uses a nearby water supply to create a giant water vortex around his sword Samehada. Kisame then wields the vortex as a weapon.

Body Replacement Technique-This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach, leaving the opponent open to a counter-attack. Explosive tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise, which Sasuke has done twice in the anime. Fundamentally, all ninja know this technique.

The anime has a number of other objects being used for this jutsu, such as a straw man, a boulder, mud, a scarecrow, and even a large rolled-up carpet. These items are usually nowhere in sight, suggesting that they are merely gags meant to lighten up the situation and not an actual part of the jutsu. Additionally, the normal practice of switching places with a section of log is done in several places that have no such thing anywhere nearby.

This technique is sometimes referred to as the Art of Projection ("Utsusemi no Jutsu") in other manga and anime series.

Shadow Clone Technique-Similar to the Clone Technique, this jutsu creates clones of the user. Unlike the Clone Technique, these clones are actual copies, not illusions. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power. The clones are capable of performing jutsu on their own and can even bleed, but will usually disperse after one or two solid blows. Unlike other clones, they can't be detected by the Byakugan because the clones have the exact same amount of chakra and aren't made from any other substance, making them indistinguishable from the actual person. Sasuke Uchiha claims that the Sharingan can tell the difference during his battle with Naruto at the Valley of the End.

Any experience the clones gain during their existence is transferred to the user once they are dispersed. This makes the technique ideal for spying, since the user can simply send a clone to spy on a target, then have the clone disperse itself without returning to pass the information back to the user. It's also useful for training purposes, since the total amount of experience the user gains is multiplied by the total number of clones being used to train. Using it in this manner is far more difficult, however, since a large number of clones are needed to make a significant difference in the training time. It's unclear if other types of clones possess this advantage.

This technique is considered dangerous because of the manner in which the clones are created. Because the user divides their chakra among the clones, the user could potentially use up all their chakra fairly quickly if the user is low on chakra or makes too many clones, such as Naruto does with Multiple Shadow Clone Technique, this jutsu's enhanced (and forbidden) form. Naruto is able to use this technique to the extremes that he does because of his tailed beast, the nine-tailed demon fox, which gives him an abnormally high chakra level. Even without the demon fox's chakra, Naruto can make quite a few clones, but nowhere near on the level he can when he has access to the demon fox's chakra. The technique can also be dangerous if the user is injured or has some otherwise debilitating physical condition at the time of the cloning, since all of the clones will be created in roughly the same state.

Spiraling Sphere-The Spiraling Sphere is a technique invented by the Fourth Hokage after three years of development. It requires a very high level of chakra control. The Spiraling Sphere incorporates the chakra control learned from the tree-climbing and water-walking exercises to create a ball of concentrated, spinning chakra in the user's hand that is slightly larger than a baseball. For training purposes, teaching the technique is broken into three steps. First, the user has to learn to pop a water balloon by spinning the water inside in multiple directions with their chakra. Second, they do the same with a solid rubber ball. Since the rubber is thicker and air is completely different from water, it forces the user to rely mostly on denser chakra to break it. Finally, the user has to form a complete Spiraling Sphere by combining what they learned in the previous two steps. A regular balloon is often used to act as the shell. In Part II, Naruto develops an improved version known as the Great Ball Spiraling Sphere.

The Spiraling Sphere requires no hand seals to perform, instead relying entirely on the chakra control of the user. Once the user creates a stable Spiraling Sphere, however, it becomes self-sustaining, so the user does not need to provide any more chakra after forming it. The force of the spinning chakra grinds into whatever it touches, causing major damage. The user can also release the spinning chakra, creating a violent explosive force at the point of contact. The one drawback of the Spiraling Sphere, if it can be considered as such, is that it requires great chakra control. Of course, this will not be a drawback if the user has learned the technique, because they already possess the necessary chakra control. It can be a problem if some force is disrupting the user's ability to mold chakra. Unlike the One Thousand Birds, there is no definite limit to the amount of times this technique can be used in a day. Because it uses far less chakra in comparison, it doesn't carry the same over-use risk as the One Thousand Birds, either.

Despite the Spiraling Sphere being a one-handed technique, Naruto actually uses three or more hands to form it (his one hand holds and spins the chakra while any number of clones create a shell with their hands) in the first part of the series due to his poor chakra control (which would require spinning it several directions), but in the second part of the series has been shown to be capable of making a one-handed Spiraling Sphere. When Naruto accesses his tailed transformation states, he can form the Spiraling Sphere with one hand by using demon fox chakra to form the shell, which likely provides better control and power. It also forms irregularly and grows as it mixes with the demon fox's chakra, giving it a purple color.

The anime makes light of the Spiraling Sphere by making it an "all-purpose jutsu". During episode 168, Naruto uses it to mix the ingredients for noodles quickly and evenly. In episode 177, Jiraiya uses it to create a path through a maze of houses, in order to see through everything behind the walls (inadvertently blasting through a woman's bathroom). While outrunning some ninja, Jiraiya uses it to as a propeller for a boat; in this episode, Naruto even commented that it had become a "cheap trick", even though he himself uses it at Jiraiya's insistence. In episode 194 of the anime, Naruto actually throws a Spiraling Sphere to free himself and his friends from a mansion. The last event is a significant deviation on the standard Spiraling Sphere, since it is normally hand-held, and may not be canon since these are filler episodes. He does, however, do something similar when first using the technique against Kabuto.

Kakashi explains after the timeskip that the Spiraling Sphere is an incomplete technique, since the Fourth Hokage originally planned on combining his own nature manipulation with it. Such a feat, however, proved too difficult for both him and Kakashi. Naruto, however, is capable of doing so, albeit after much training and with two clones assisting him. Since his chakra is wind-based, his version is known as Wind Release: Spiraling Sphere.

Temporary Paralysis Technique-This jutsu paralyzes an opponent, leaving them open for attack. This is considered a signature jutsu of all ANBU members. Tsunade used this technique in the anime against the Legendary Stupid Brothers, Fujin and Raijin.

Transformation Technique-This jutsu allows the user to assume the appearance of another person, animal, or object. This is one of the basic jutsu taught at the Konoha Ninja Academy. Fundamentally, all ninja know this jutsu.

Transparent Escape Technique-This jutsu is the ultimate peeping technique developed by Jiraiya when he was still a student under the Third Hokage. This jutsu allows Jiraiya to escape from any area unheard and unseen. It appears to be ineffective against his longtime female companion Tsunade. It is unknown what this jutsu actually does, but it probably makes him invisible.

Besides its use for peeping, it is also very useful for Jiraiya's espionage activities. When he's about to be caught, this jutsu allows him to escape an area without a trace.

Multiple Shadow Clone Technique-This jutsu is basically a massive version of the Shadow Clone Technique. Instead of a few clones, it creates a few hundred clones (or a number of equal grandeur). This is considered a forbidden technique, because it can potentially be dangerous to the person performing it, seeing as how all of the clones are given an equal amount of chakra directly from the user. Naruto learned the technique from the scroll of forbidden seals written by the First Hokage and used it to save Iruka from Mizuki. Few people are able to use this technique effectively, due to the large amount of chakra it consumes. This weakness does not apply to Naruto due to his demon fox chakra, which allows him to create upwards of 2,000 clones while maintaining a decent supply of chakra in each one. This technique is also used by Naruto to train quickly, since all the clones share their experiences with Naruto, but it causes extreme fatigue with repeated use.

Clone Great Explosion-This jutsu works in combination with the Shadow Clone Technique to create a shadow clone that will explode on command. The blast created is considerable, and could potentially kill an attacker engaged in hand-to-hand combat.

Shuriken Shadow Clone Technique-A modification of the Shadow Clone Technique, the user throws one shuriken at the victim and then uses this jutsu to create multiple copies of the shuriken to make the attack more powerful.

Multiple Clone Great Explosion-This jutsu works in combination with Multiple Shadow Clone Technique with Yoh snap his finger the clone's expoldes causing alot of dmage on there oppiten it could aslo kill there oppiten if Yoh wanted to.

Summoning Technique-The basic form of all summoning techniques, this jutsu uses a contract, hand seals, and the user's blood to summon an animal from another dimension. As an alternative to the normal hand seals, the same contract that appears on the ground during the summoning can be drawn by hand and activated, producing the same result. The type of animal summoned is determined by the contract. The blood is used as a signature to make the contract, which can be written on a scroll or tattoo, valid. Once summoned, the animal can perform a task or help the user in battle.

The summon usually is subservient to the summoner; however, the more powerful summons, such as Gamabunta and Manda, demand respect and loyalty from their summoners. Manda even demands hundreds of live human sacrifices

Summoning Technique
Gama-Gama (蝦蟇, Gama?) is a mid-level toad that first appears when Jiraiya is introduced. It is first summoned to tongue-whip Ebisu (because Ebisu annoyed Jiraiya) at the hot springs. Later on, it's summoned once again to give the contract scroll for the Gama family to Naruto. Its last summoning was to deflect Kisame's attack on Naruto Uzumaki. In this instance, it appears in samurai armor. Whether or not these are entirely different toads is unclear, but all look basically the same, differing only in size.

Gamabunta-Gamabunta, meaning "Toad King", is the boss of the toads that are summoned. He is huge (about 100 meters high) and is summoned for battles with the biggest of enemies. Naruto can only summon him with his demon fox chakra. Without it, Naruto can only call upon some of Gamabunta's smallest children. Gamabunta is first seen in the premiere of the series, where he and the Fourth Hokage face off against the demon fox. He is not given a speaking role until he is first summoned by Naruto in the month long training session with Jiraiya. Jiraiya pushed him over a cliff in order to induce life-threatening fear in Naruto so that the demon fox chakra could come out, but never expected Naruto to summon Gamabunta. Given that Gamabunta wasn't happy about appearing at the bottom of a canyon, Jiraiya quickly fled.

Gamabunta is a grumpy and highly apathetic character. He doesn't like to take orders from anyone, unless the summoner is highly talented and earns his respect. Jiraiya, Naruto and the Fourth Hokage are three of the few people that he has allowed to ride on top of his head without question (although Jiraiya admits that he can't completely control Gamabunta, and Naruto had to struggle for Gamabunta to accept him). He uses some Japanese words that only a yakuza gangster would use, but he is portrayed as an ultimately powerful and positive force. He is fiercely protective of his kin and he hates to be underestimated by anyone, both of which take precedence over his normal apathy. Often, it is one or a combination of these two factors that entices him to fight. Overall, despite his grumpy exterior, he shows respect towards Naruto as if he were a son. He even explained to Jiraiya that he's aware of Naruto's talents and potential. He and Jiraiya seem to be good friends and, as implied in the series, drinking buddies, despite Jiraiya's admitted lack of control over Gamabunta. However, he will scold him on occasion.

When Naruto first summoned Gamabunta, Gamabunta didn't believe that a little kid like Naruto could summon him. Naruto, angry at the comment, claimed that, as Gamabunta's summoner, he was the toad's master. This made Gamabunta lose his patience with Naruto, and he threatened to kill him. This scared Naruto into submission and, after Naruto apologized, Gamabunta accepted him as a subordinate. It is not until Gamabunta sees the summoning contract scroll that he believes that Naruto actually summoned him, though he is not overly surprised by the fact. After Naruto passes out from summoning Gamabunta, the toad boss takes Naruto to the hospital, leaving his footprint as a signature.

During the attack on Konoha, Naruto summoned Gamabunta to save himself from being crushed by Gaara's Desert Funeral. Gaara was in his full Shukaku form, though Gaara's personality was still dominant at the time. Gamabunta was his usual grumpy self, and told Naruto that they couldn't have a subordinate/mentor relationship until they shared sake, despite the fact that Naruto wasn't old enough to drink. Gamakichi, who had been accidentally summoned by Naruto earlier, told his father that Gaara bullied him and that Naruto had saved him. Gamabunta is impressed with Naruto, and he officially accepts Naruto as his subordinate. At first, Gamabunta was able to hold his own, but this quickly changed when Gaara forced sleep upon himself, allowing Shukaku to take over. This unleashes Shukaku's full power, which is too much for Gamabunta to handle. However, Naruto and Gamabunta use a combination transformation to take on the form of a giant fox, allowing Gamabunta to get Naruto close enough to Gaara to wake him up. Gamabunta was once again impressed with Naruto and even lamented that he would not be able to see the end of this battle because he had reached his limit.

During the battle between Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Orochimaru, Gamabunta is summoned along with Katsuyu to counter Manda, Orochimaru's giant snake. He seems to have respect for Katsuyu, as he rescued her from Manda.

In the Sea Country filler arc, Naruto summoned Gamabunta to battle against Umibozu, the Sea Boss. Gamabunta wasn't happy about being summoned in seawater (toads are freshwater creatures), but fought anyway because he was underestimated by his opponent. He and Naruto defeated the otherwise indestructible water creature by evaporating it. Gamabunta then threw Naruto into the air as punishment for summoning him in seawater.

One Thousand Birds-This jutsu is Kakashi's only original technique, though he now uses an S-ranked version known as the Lightning Blade. He created it around the time he was promoted to Jonin, and later taught it to Sasuke. This jutsu channels a large amount of chakra into the user's arm. The amount of chakra is so great that it becomes visible to the naked eye. The technique actually alters the nature of the user's chakra, effectively converting it into electricity. As a side effect of the conversion process, the large amount of chakra, and the speed at which the user moves, this technique makes a loud noise similar to many birds chirping, hence the name (if the user is not in motion, it merely makes an electric crackling sound). Once the technique is completed, the user charges forward and stabs their enemy with it. The amount of thrust combined with the large concentration of chakra allows the user to stab through almost anything; as such it is usually fatal to the enemy. This technique is classified as an assassination technique because of the speed at which it is performed, despite the loud noise it produces.

This jutsu has a major drawback, however. The speed at which the attack must be done, combined with the fact that the user must run in a straight line, causes a tunnel vision-like effect for the user. This allows their enemy to easily counter the attack, making it a potentially lethal move for the user. Though this drawback would seem to make learning the technique fairly pointless, Sasuke and Kakashi are able to avoid the drawback because of their Sharingan eyes, which take in every detail regardless of how fast the user is moving. As an additional drawback, the large amount of chakra required limits its use to a few times a day (two for Sasuke, four for Kakashi). Sasuke can manage one more than normal with the use of his cursed seal. Should the user attempt to go beyond their limit, all of their chakra will be drained and their very life force could go along with it, killing them. An additional problem, though not necessarily a debilitating one, is the fact that the large amount of chakra can also injure the user's hand if they put too much force into the attack. Sasuke does this while battling his brother, Itachi, causing some of the skin to peel from his hand and leaving it slightly smoldering after the attack was finished.

Fire Release: Dragon Fire Technique-The user breathes fire along a cord or any other type of long object. While the technique is shown in the anime to be even larger and more devastating than Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique, in the manga it is shown to be nothing more than a small burst of flame running along a line of wire.

Fire Release: Fire Dragon Flame Missile-The user shoots an enormous ball of flame in the shape of a dragon from their mouth.

Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique-Utilizing a large amount of chakra, a large ball of flame is exhaled from the user's mouth. When an Uchiha clan member masters this technique, they are recognized as an adult. This technique also seems to be fairly common amongst Konoha's Chunin-level ninja.

Fire Release: Phoenix Immortal Fire Technique-This jutsu sends multiple balls of fire at a target. It is also possible to hide shurikens within the fireballs, creating an unexpected secondary surprise attack. For the most part, this jutsu is used as a distraction.
Water Release: Water Dragon Blast Technique-Using this jutsu, the user creates a huge current of water in the form of a serpentine dragon and directs it towards a target. The water used to create the dragon must be present to perform the technique.

Fire Release: Blooming Great Flame-Sasuke leaps into the air and launches three giant fireballs at his opponent, resulting in a huge explosion.

Genjutsu Techniques:
Bringer-of-Darkness Technique-This jutsu makes the target think that they are surrounded by total darkness, allowing the user to attack unseen. In the anime, the Second Hokage was the one to initiate this technique. In the manga, it was the First Hokage.

Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing Technique-This jutsu causes the target to see a horrifying vision. First, an imaginary circle of leaves will spin around and envelop the target, falling away shortly after. After a short period, the illusion will begin. This is to make the illusion more convincing, since the user will likely have moved before the illusion sets in.

Time Reversal Technique-This technique puts the target in a state of reverse hypnosis, allowing them to remember details that they otherwise would not. The target will comply with interrogation, but seems to retain his or her personality while under hypnosis. For example, when the ANBU used this technique to bring back Naruto's memories about his conversations with Gennou, Naruto was more specific about the ramen he shared with the old man rather than their conversations, which the ANBU were asking about.

Taijutsu Techniques:
Front Lotus of Love and Youth-Rock Lee kicks the enemy, and then Guy tackles the enemy to launch them into the air. Lee and Guy both grab the enemy and crash them into the ground with a burning two-man Front Lotus. The two give the patented "nice guy pose" at the end.


Front Louts-This jutsu requires opening the first chakra gate, giving the user five times their normal strength. Having prepared for the jutsu by unwrapping the bandages on his arms, the user kicks his opponent into the air, and then performs Shadow of the Dancing Leaf. Once he is behind his opponent, he then wraps the arm bandages around them, and grabs them in a bear hug, then piledrives them into the ground while spinning rapidly. The resulting impact will likely kill his opponent, though this has yet to happen due to extenuating circumstances. Because it uses one of the chakra gates, the user is left extremely fatigued, making this jutsu a "double-edged sword." Guy's version involves him uppercutting the opponent, grabbing them (breaking their bones), and slamming them head first into the ground.

Shadow of the Dancing Leaf-While the target is airborne, the user jumps in such a way as to appear below the target while following a similar trajectory through the air. Since the victim is airborne, he is in a vulnerable position to a more damaging attack.
Using his Sharingan, Sasuke was able to copy this move when Rock Lee used it on him. Unlike Lee, however, he hasn't had sufficient training to avoid the body strain from using the technique.

Reverse Lotus-This jutsu is an advanced and more destructive version of the Front Lotus, which requires that at least three chakra gates be opened (in every instance in which it has been used, five gates are opened). Once enough gates are open, the user launches the target into the air and hits them with one arm and one foot, sending the target crashing into the ground. This is usually fatal due to the speed and power behind the attack. Because so many chakra gates are opened at once, it can only be used once, since the user will likely be unable to stand afterward. Guy's version involves him launching the enemy into the air, spinning like a drill, and delivering a bone-shattering punch.

Leaf Whirlwind-This jutsu is a set-up attack for a stronger jutsu. It consists of a simple, but very fast, duck followed by a powerful upward kick, which sends the opponent flying. When Guy uses this attack, he covers his foot in chakra to enhance it, making his version C

Leaf Rising Wind-Using quickness and agility, the user will do a swift upwards kick at their opponent or at a weapon the opponent is wielding.

Leaf Great Whirlwind-This jutsu involves a powerful leap forward followed by a spinning kick with both legs in succession, the second kick being aimed lower in case the intended target ducks the first.

True Reverse Lotus-This jutsu is an enhanced version of the Reverse Lotus, and requires the user to open the sixth chakra gate. It begins with the user kicking the opponent into the air, followed with the opening of the sixth gate. Once the sixth gate is open, the user launches themselves into the stunned opponent, constantly attacking them with speed so fast that the naked eye will only see light beams passing through the opponent.

Genryuu Kyuu Fuujin - Complete Nine Mystical Dragon Seal
Genryuu Kyuu Fuujin is a Fuuinjutsu technique utilized by Akatsuki. To further their goals, they seek to capture all the "jinchuuriki," literally "the power of human sacrifice" a.k.a. demon possessors such as Uzumaki Naruto and Gaara. Akatsuki seeks to use the bijuu (tailed demon beasts) for their unique abilites. Once they capture one of the jinchuuriki, they will bring them to a hidden location. All nine members need not be physically present, they can use their astral projection technique to transport a spectral form of themselves into the cave.

The members will first summon the huge "king of hell" statue. This statue has its mouth bound and eyes covered. Once they begin the technique, the mouth binding will fall away and nine spectral dragons will emerge from its mouth to strike the jinchuuriki. This will then begin the extraction process. With the absence of Orochimaru, the process will take three straight day and nights. During this period the members will release the same exact amount of power as that of the bijuu, this synchronization will thus allow its removal. As the extraction continues, the statues eyes will open to reveal the current status of previous jinchuriki captures, with irises appearing in the eyes to apparently represent a capture.


This unnamed astral projection technique is used by Akatsuki to gather at one location, even while members are in different parts of the world. By forming the needed handseal, an astral form of their being will appear at the desired location. This spirit can act in conjunction with other members to do combination jutsu like the Genryuu Kyuu Fuujin. While in the spirit form, the member’s voice will sound deep and distorted.

the blade dissolves and scatters into thousands of tiny blades that look like cherry blossoms because of the way the light shines on them. These "petals" can then pierce the opponent, heavily wounding and incapacitating them completely.

Itachi drops his sword to the ground where it sinks through a white portal, two rows of giant blades then rise up from the ground behind him. These then scatter into millions of tiny blades that appear as glowing petals, drastically higher in number than in the initial release, all controlled by itachi.
As such, the petals can form into different streams, for offensive and defensive formations - i.e. they are able to pierce an opponent like a spear, but also create a shield around Itachi. Itachi is able to increase the petals' movement speed two-fold by controlling the flow of these streams with his hands rather than his mind.
The final release has a second form called Senkei Senbonzakura Kageyoshi (senkei - scene of a massacre). Senkei unites the scattered petals into complete swords that form four rows around Itachi and his opponent. The swords do not have to attack all at once; Itachi can call single blades down and into his hands one by one as needed. However, he can use all the blades at once in one immensely powerful strike. This form dramatically increases attacking power by sacrificing all of the defensive power it had in the previous form. It does not affect Itachi's speed.
Senbonzakura's final form, called shūkei ( lit. final scene), is reserved for when Itachi is too tired to fight with his final release. It compresses all of the swords into a single blade, further enhancing his power. It is called hakuteiken (lit. white imperial sword). In this form, Itachi grows pure white wings and a halo-like circle in the back, made of spiritual power. The sword also gains a pure white aura It is unknown whether the wings are merely a cosmetic effect or if they can be used to fly.

He graduated at the top of his Academy class at age 7, had mastered the Sharingan by age 8, became a Chūnin at 10 and was previously an ANBU squad leader at the age of 13.

He left Konoha about five years prior to the setting of Naruto, after slaying his whole clan with the exception of Sasuke Uchiha, his little brother. At 11, he was feared by even Orochimaru. He is now currently associated with Akatsuki. Orochimaru had planned to use Itachi's body as a new container for his soul, but Itachi's power had grown to such a frightening extent that Orochimaru dared not carry out his plan, and decided to leave Akatsuki and try his luck with the younger Sasuke instead.

The reason Itachi killed his clan, and the reason he left only his brother Sasuke alive, still remains unclear. When questioned by Sasuke, he replied "To test my 'utsuwa'." In Japanese, 'utsuwa' (器) can mean "vessel," or "container," but it can also mean "ability," or "tool." Orochimaru uses this word to refer to the bodies he takes over with his Living Corpse Reincarnation. In this respect, Itachi's words can mean anything from him having a past connection with Orochimaru, to him simply wanting to test his own power, or to his plans to join Akatsuki and forsake past relations. To make matters even more ambiguous, the first person pronoun Itachi used can also be used as a vulgar second person pronoun, so he could also have meant that he wanted to test Sasuke's 'utsuwa,' although this is unlikely, given his previous remarks about his 'utsuwa'.

He was, until recently, the only known living person who possessed the Mangekyō Sharingan as revealed in the manga. Itachi has told Sasuke that if Sasuke were to obtain the Mangekyō Sharingan, the people able to use it will total three.

Despite being the murderer of his entire clan, as well as his closest friend, Itachi does not appear to kill simply for the sake of it, but instead seems to use just enough force to achieve his goals. When Asuma Sarutobi and Kurenai Yuhi stood between him and the way to his goal (Naruto Uzumaki), he did not kill Kurenai when given the chance. Likewise, he could have easily killed Kakashi and Sasuke, but instead chose to torture them with his Mangekyō Sharingan so that they would witness his power.
