Well since they're The Beatles, they get mentioned a lot in movies, tv shows, and actors/musicians talk about how they've inspired them or even how much they hate them.

So post here where you have say seen a John Lennon poster in the background of a scene in a movie or tv show, or one of your other favourite bands lead singer always talks about them. So really post quotes and different movies and shows they get a mention in.

I will start off with I am Sam. Countless Beatles posters throughout the whole entire movie, and the actors always say quotes from them or say something about them in it.

CSI Las Vegas. One episode Grissom finds a whole bunch of beetles on a dead body and he picks up a few to examine and says "John, Paul, George and Ringo." and then Sarah says "The Beatles."
Also in another episode Grissom picks up a beetle and I guess it's supposed to be a very... err good beetle and the girl (forget who it was) says "What's that?" and Grissom says "Either John or Paul. The most important beetle."

In one of my favourite movies Almost Famous, in one scene when the editor from Rolling Stone magazine is talking to the main character William over the phone there's a John Lennon poster in the background.

I have thousands of quotes too from the guys in Oasis but I'm too lazy right now to post them haha.

Well, I know there's a Doctor Who story called "The Chase" in which the Doctor and a few others watch a clip from another program of the Beatles performing, and a young girl (maybe Susan, for those who know the show, but I only saw a clip and can't remember) refers to their music as "classical music".

eddie izzard joked about how the pope was john, then john paul, and he said he can see where this is going: pope john paul ringo george and he'll go on a worldwide tour X"D

and in american pie don mcclean references the beatles, lennon (some say) and bob dylan (off topic but ive got a dylan thing going right now)

has seen a million whee

King of the hill
Hank: heres a nice cd (hes trying to find acceptable music for his kid) they're kinda like the beatles before india made them go crazy

Simpsons
bart and milhouse find out that Ned (the simpsons really religious neighbor) has a secret beatles room where he has a million beatles things.
Milhouse: who are the beatles
Bart: they're the ones who wrote all the songs on maggies baby records
they walk around and look at all the stuff (accidently ruining some things) and they come across some driks called, John lemmon, paul mcCice tea, mango starr (i can't remeber georges)
Milhouse: hey bart wanna blast from the past
Bart: a 40 year old novelty beverage? HAND IT OVER!
Bart and milhouse start drinking it and starts tripping. he sees images of the beatles. and starts muttering "yellow matter custard dripping from a dead dogs eye. and milhouse says "i don't feel so fab" and he barfs into the beatles ed sullivan show suits. Ned comes home and sees his house is "slightly askew" and he calls the police. They come, bart and milhouse hide behind a yellow submarine. the police find them and the officer says "looks like these kids are taking the last train to clarksville" the deputy says "thats the monkees chief". meanwhile ned is moaning that the boys went "yoko and broke up his collection". Homer is there and he finds some beatle bobble heads and he starts boping them on the head saying "look at me i'm brain epstein" then he stops and says "now i'm michale jackson, i own all your songs losers heheheh".

Ringo starr and paul mccartney also have been guset voices

in the episode with ringo they find some old paintings marge has done of him. Then she says she wrote him but he never wrote back. THen we see ringo surrounded by letters and his butler comes in and says "i admire your devotion to your fans" and ringo says something like "they took they time to write and i'm gonna take the time to write back even if it takes me forever. (hes responding to some wrote in the 60's) then he writes marge backk and everything is loveley...oh and they play it don't come easy in the show too.

in the episode with paul all that really happens is that lisa feels like an outcast because shes becoming a vegieterean and she talks with paul and linda about it. this all happens in a garden on top of the kwickie mart.

The only reason I saw The Departed was because someone on here said it had John Lennon's 'Well Well Well' playing in one part. Unfortunately, I hated the movie, and so did my parents. It was an evening wasted, but at least I got to hear the song for the first time! xP

My parents.. Uncles.. Grandparents loved that movie haha. I'm not allowed to see it yet, well I can but I'd rather not lol. My brother told me someone said it had a John Lennon song in it and I had already heard it before. Not my favourite John song but it's still good.

It was good for its genre, but I don't like cop/criminal movies. WERE ARE THE WEREWOLVES? WHERE ARE THE TRANSVESTITES? WHERE ARE THE SONG AND DANCE NUMBERS?!?!?!?! D:<

---There was a Powerpuff girls episode(yes, I used to watch it. xp ) called Meet the Beat-alls, where the 4 main villians teamed up to become a super-crime team. The whole thing was packed with Beatles references.

--In Forrest Gump(awesome movie! whee ) Forrest is on a TV show with John. Nearly all of John's lines are Imagine lyrics.

---In the movie Hook, Peter Pan flies in Wendy's house to find her grandaughter sleeping there. Her bed has a movieposter for a Hard Day's Night over it, and she's got some other pictures of them hanging on the wall.

In regards to the Simpsons comment, George was also a guest star once. I don't watch the show, but I looked up all the Beatles-Simpson stuff on Youtube once.

And that's all I can think of right now. I know I've probably seen more.

I just watched Forrest Gump today. x3 The voice dubbing on the part with John is always disconcerting to me. O_o But it's so funny.
