The music that's on the album should reflect
onto the CD cover.

onto the CD cover. If that's true then I guess the album cover is for some type of DJ mix/compilation. I think it is not bad for a person who is starting graphics making.

I like the second one better, but not the white text at the bottom.
Oh and like I said, are you sure the proportions are right?

I'm pretty sure the proportions are wrong, but it looks good. Like Obito said, the white text in the second one throws it all off.
