The wind billowed wildly outside as I read a book by the fire. I was chewing on a straw and hoping desperatly to not be interupted when a knock on my door. Slowly folding the corner of the page I was induldged in I closed the book and walked to the door.
Looking forward as I opened the door I was about to greet who ever it was at my door. Looking around for a moement when I saw noone was there I sighed and turned to close my door. That's when it caught my eye. A shimmering black and purple egg with a fluffy tail was on my door step. I picked it up and then put it back down softly licking my fingers and shaking my hands.
The egg was burning hot. I looked down at it for a moment and then grabbed a bunch of blankets. I wrapped the blankets around the egg and picked it up again with a smile. It was much better.
Sighing I moved back inisde kicking the door closed behind me. Smiling I moved to the fire place and put the egg on the floor in front of it. I looked down at it and then at the card.
"Well Sonya.." I smiled and smiled," Welcome to your new home."
