Can someone help me with this? I have an idea for an Avatar story which my friend insists the fandom will tear me apart for. It entails Zuko recieving a severe head injury and incurring memory loss along with it. Witnesses to the accident--Aang, Katara, Toph and Sokka--assume he's dead and leave him there, where he is found by a older woman and her dog. This lady takes him in and cares for him, and upon realizing his memory is gone--and obviously recognizing him by the scar on the side of his face--begins to feed him false memories of his life until now. He is her son Luka, she tells him, and the scar a remnant of his pulling a lamp over on himself as a child and being burned when the oil splashed out. What can he do but accept this as truth? Once she has him fairly well in hand, she plans to have him kill his father Ozai and sister Azula, carrying out a coup' de' etat and seizing control of the Fire Nation.

Does it seem like the Avatar Fandom would murder me in my sleep if I wrote it?
