Someone just offered me a trade from a mule account. They didn't want anything in return and wouldn't tell me who they were. I declined. Is this a common scam?? I was afraid maybe they were botting and I'd get banned! The weird thing is, it was the next item I was questing.

I have actually had this happen to me. There are some members who actually spend their time trying to help people who are questing. That could be it or it could be what you suspected?
Just have to decide if the risk is worth it?
That wasn't very good advice... lol

LOL I know what you mean Don.
The person was very nice about it and said they'd wait until the gift giving was back up, which is why they used a mule...they wanted to remain anonymous. I felt bad. I just wasn't sure what to do though. sweatdrop I'd hate to get banned, but they weren't trying to sell it to me....

They didn't want any info or gold from me. Just wanted me to accept the gift.
