I'm kind of confused... We find out that Adrock was living in the command center of the scub coral towards the end... and then it gets destroyed and Renton is all depressed saying he wasn't able to protect anyone.... but at the end, when nirvash says that the scub is leaving the planet, along with half the life forms, it shows his face... so is he dead, or still living in the scub? if you could answer it would be a big help, thanks.

Well seeing as he was a part of the Scab coral, and the whole coral hadn't been destroyed only the Cluster, its safe to say since it seems he's nothing more then brainwaves inside the coral, that he was safe as long as the coral remained intact, not just the cluster.

Ya I don't think he is still alive, up to the destruction of the Scub coral yes I think he wasstill alive but asfter the scub was blow up i think everyone inside it is dead in physical sense.

Shenok Ya I don't think he is still alive, up to the destruction of the Scub coral yes I think he wasstill alive but asfter the scub was blow up i think everyone inside it is dead in physical sense. True, but wasn't everyone in the scub dead in a physical sense the minute they entered it?

Actually no. The kids that woke up from Dispair Sickness were in the scub coral. When it was destroyed they returned to their own bodies.
But, the ones who didn't leave bodies behind like Adrock supposedly crossed over to "the other side". I think the idea is a parallel world that half the life on the planet was sent to. It's hinted at in the final episode.
I think the english dub of the final episode will be very interesting. They tend to change wordings on things slightly and show meanings that couldn't be picked up on in the subs very easily.
