I'm taking a break from posting about some of my favorite hard rock, metal and punk rock bands and telling you about some of my favorite indie and more relaxing bands Carbon Leaf is an indie rock/folk rock/it-sounds-like-irish folk music band from my home state of Virginia (Richmond to be exact, same as Heavy Metal act Lamb Of God). As with most of the other bands I've mentioned they are relatively unknown though they have gained considerable notice from their hit single "Life Less Ordinary". I know they're playing a Saint Patrick's Day concert with Saliva in Washington D.C. later this month. I would like to attend, but according to the rules you have to be 21 to get in
