The Eternal Miyuki Captain

You have entered an unfamiliar Grotto where strange sights and delicious experiences await you. An ethereal waiter saunters up to you and hands you a drink which magically transforms into whatever you like most to drink. Around you, you see flora of unspeakable beauty, all lit softly by what appears to be faeries darting this way and that. The plant life forms a trail which you follow into an enormous ballroom.
The ballroom is warm and inviting. There are tables around the edges of the room with black and white alternating tablecloths. At the back of the room, there is a stage where an orchestra sits, playing a lively tune, wearing tuxedos and black formal gowns. Behind the stage is a wall of floor-to-ceiling windows with beautiful black and white silk curtains. The windows are open, allowing a breeze to play along the curtains. The windows open onto a stone balcony which spans the width of the room itself.
Looking to the ceiling, you see elaborate chandeliers lit with candles which sparkle through crystal. They give the room a warm, ethereal glow.
In the center of the ballroom, you see a wooden parquet floor stretching bare before you, suitable for dancing. You see many couples dancing, and you see many people dancing alone as well. Everyone is laughing and talking, enjoying each other's company. From your left, Miyuki saunters up to you and welcomes you with open arms. She speaks...
"Welcome to the Phantom Laundromat, dear friends. No expense has been spared to ensure your happiness on this night and forever in the future. I am truly happy that you were able to attend our little get-together. You will find anything and everything you need right at your fingertips. Just ask, and you shall have whatever you are wanting. Please enjoy yourself. The orchestra can play any tune.
"I ask very little from you. Please remember that this is a public occasion, so behave in a manner which does not betray a lack of etiquette. Speak nicely to one another. Beyond that, I have no other request.
"Tomorrow, after we have recovered sufficiently from our decadent amusements, there will be a presentation of awards for your continued enjoyment. But for now, please, do carry on."
Miyuki melts away into the background, a smile playing upon her lips. You enter the ballroom and...

For those of you who didn't catch that...
The rules are keep it PG-13, don't start any flame wars, obey TOS and Guild Rules, and have a good time.
There's no special way you have to post, just remember that you're at a ball yeah? I know we all aren't RP-inclined so it's not like you have to put any thought into your posts. Just be here, have fun, participate, and follow the rules.
*snapps fingers and makes a glass of champaign appear in her hand*
On with the show!
Oh...one more thing...if you see me post in pink then either someone is getting a random prize or the scene for the ball RP is changing. Yay for random events!!!
