Welcome to Torrin and mines journal and rp! If you'd like to rp with either of us or both of us, just pm me. In a green little valley surrounded by trees, there was a hill. Not just any hill, you see, it was the only hill besides a few places where the owner of the land left compost piles and dirt from the garden in places. The hill was surrounded by a garden of wild flowers and some not-so-wild flowers such as foxgloves, red/pink lupine, yellow iris, dark red oriental poppies and more soon to come. Perched atop the hill was a great oak tree, the massive branches covering half of the hill in shade and then some. The valley was lush with green grass that seemed to glow in the radiance of the sun, foot high emerald stalks swaying in the occassional breeze. A young kirntaur, pelt black as the midnight sky with no moon or stars to guide the travelers ways, hoofs, markings and horn stubs hot pink with eyes as green as the valley it played in. It was barely visible as it romped about, only to be seen bobbing up and down above the grass. As it pranced around in happy thoughts, it sees you from the corner of its eye as it leaped above the grassy hedges. "Meer!" It cried as it quickly scrambled to the hill. Wondering what it was doing in this valley alone, you follow it to see where it's going and to see if it's being taken care of. As you start to run after the little goat, a spot on the front side of the hill opened up like a circular door at its base. One thing you failed to grasp about the hill was a stone path carefully leading into the hillside where it had just opened. "Ma-a-a!" The kirntaur cried again. A figure wearing light colored clothes with blue hair ran out from beneath the hill, holding out her arms as she bent down to catch the spooked animal as it jumped onto her. The young lady looked up in time to see you slow down to a stop a few yards away. "Oh, hello there." She said in a startled tone. "I didn't see you coming. My name's VG Cat, but you can call me V. Most of my friends do." Smiling, she looked at the creature in her arms. "I see you've met Torrin, my Kirntaur." At this, Torrin looked up at her with big green eyes. "Don't give me that look. You know I'm immune." Looking back up to you she laughed at the look on your face. "If you want to you can have a look around or stay for some tea and biscuits."I speak in blue and my thoughts are in italic dark blue.Torrin speaks in light green and thinks in italic green.Important EventsJuly ninth (post) Torrin and I moved into our house today. ^^ People allowed to post hereOnes that pm me asking to rp and myself. VG Cat and I have had aliot of fun the past few days. We couldn't go home when she adopted me because she had other things to do, like take care of some of her other pets. They're great fun to be around, especialy Moko and Sitara. They let me hop onto their backs and then we fly high as the sky! I'm usually dizzy when we land, but I've gotten used to it and it doesn't bother me anymore. Of course, VG doesn't know that they take me flying with them, because it's a secret.
Torrin and I have been on the road the days after I adopted him and didn't have timt to write in this journal. I introduced him to my other pets, and that's what took so long. We had to go to the Airashii shop to find Moko, the Spoofies shop to find Aquarius, Sitara and Racoo, The Fweebles shop to find Brice and Adriane and the list goes on. I hope no one's being a bad influence on him. I'd like for him to grow up in one piece with no broken anythings.

Today we finally made our way to my new home. V told me it was in a valley basin, surrounded by a forest of tall deciduous trees. Now, I don't know what a deciduous tree is, but it seemed like V was very happy that she could share it with me and anyother kirntaur she adopts or friends she invites. It's been almost a week since I left the center with her, and we've bonded really well. Even though I can't talk her language and her mine, somehow she can understand what I'm saying. It's really cool, because when I say one thing and mean another it frustrates her. It's fun to be a kid! ^^
We're on our way to Torrins new home, as well as mine. He's to small to leave alone for five minutes, so why would I just drop him off and come back next week to check on him? Poor gaurdianship, that's why. Oh, but don't worry about that. I could never leave any of my pets alone. We will be home tomarrow or later tonight. There's nothing ther right now but a hill and lush green grass that grows to at least a foot at it's tallest. It's surrounded by a forrest of deciduous treees. If you don't know what a deciduous tree is, there the types of trees that change the colors of their leaves and loose them in the cold seasons. A coniferous tree is a pine tree, or trees that produce needles instead of leaves. But anyways, I don't think he knows what a deciduous tree is, so I'll tell him later and educate him the ways of landscaping. He's gonna help me take care of the local vegetation and gardens that I've planned to build.

"ZzZzZzZzZ" -.-
Torrin is asleep, and as you might've guessed we're still on the road. We're getting closer now, the road is made of dirt instead of stone and the amount of towns we've passed is steadily declining. Lucky, we live only two miles from one town incase we ever need anything or are having an emergency. The trees are numurous and flowers line the road. It's so pleasant to be out in the country. The sky is endless and stars are clearly seen, the air is fresh and you can hear all the wild animals talking to eachother like owls, mice and wolves. Which reminds me, I'm going to have to find a kirngaurd somewhere to make this place safer and to see if I will open a ranch.... Well, if I don't open a ranch of my own perhaps an existing one will let me join their program. I'll think about it and look at other ranches for a few days and then make my decision.

Saturday, July ninth, 4:00am
Torrin was slowly roused from his sleep as he was picked up gently into his care takers arms. Eye's half open and droopy ears, he gave a questioning look to V as she shut the car door. "Mer?"
"I'm sorry to wake you Torrin, but we're here." She answered, walking through the grass. There were a few dips in the landscape that she stepped in occassionaly. I'm going to have to fill those in later. She thought to herself as she eagerly approached the hill. At first glance it was just a hill with some flowers and a big tree sitting on top. But, if you looked closer, there were things that looked like green windows. Standing in front of the hill and gazing around it, she couldn't find a way to open the secret door. "Oh, there it is." She said, moving her foot to the right and pressing on a snail gnome. An outline appeared and some roots cam out of the hill and in front of her, wrapping around eachother to form a doorknob. With a satisfied smile, she reached out and turned the handel to open the door. "This is it Torrin, our new home."
Slowly opening the door, a scent crept out on the breeze. It wasn't a dank, musty smell, but a fragrant one, the kind that you'd breath in from a flower. She made her way through the halls and in and out of rooms, searching for the right one, Torrin falling asleep yet again in her arms as she looked. It was rather hard to navigate in almost complete darkness, but somehow she managed. She opened a door and light from outside flowed from a window into the room, lighting it up for both to see. "Well, the people I bought the land and hill from left a small bed and some blankets and a pillow or two lying around somewhere until we get our own stuff moved in. Help me look for them, would ya?" Placing the young kirntaur gently on the ground, she looked in the darker corners of the room and places where the moonlight could not reach. She heard a scuffling noise on the opposite side of the room and turned around sharply, holding her breath and hoping nothing but her and Torrin were in the hill. But soon after the noise started, a satisfied 'ba' came from the same direction. The moon shifted it's place in the sky and lit up where Torrin layed. He found the pillows, blankets and the mattress the previuos land and home owners left and made himself comfortable. V stood up and smiled at him as she walked across the room to lay down next to him. "Good night Torrin." Came the whisper to his ear.
V was slightly dissapointed that she couldn't see the house clearly or look at unique features that waited to be seen by new eyes, but thought it better to wait to look around when she had a good nights rest.

Saturday, July ninth, 11:30am
Tendrils of warmth crept through the single window in the room the mattress was laying in, happy birds singing in the trees and the whistle of the breeze as it flew by carelessly. V's eyes snapped open and absorbed all the light in the room, stinging her eyes as they absorbed the rays. After a few rubs they adjusted to the brightness and she looked around for Torrin. "Torrin? Where are you?" She called out, hearing her words echo through the empty hole. That's really cool.
Her thoughts echoed what was buzzing around in her head. Where was Torrin in this empty hole that has become our home? Did he wonder outside somehow? Just as she thought the worst, she heard scuffing noises coming from another room. She rolled off of the mattress with a sigh and walked through the winding halls. There's grey/white smudges on the floor. I wonder what made those? Turning a corner, she saw something qhost like in the fireplace.
Ma-a-a! It was Torrin, playing in the ashes that the previous home owners neglected to clean.
"Torrin." V moaned as she looked down at him. "Look at you, you're covered in soot! And what's worse is you've tracked it through the house." The little kirntaur just gazed up at her and bawed again, flinging soot about. "It looks like you'll need a bath." Suddenly realization came to her. I don't have a bathtub. How am I supposed to bathe him? I don't even have a sink or anything.
"Well, I guess we can find a pond or something and wash you up there." Torrin looked at her again and cocked his head. Is she crazy? What do I need a bath for if I'm perfectly clean? V smiled as she walked over and picked him up out of the fireplace. "I'll need a change of clothes after this." She told him, looking at her brown clothes that were turning grey. It was a good thing that there was a town nearby, or else she'd have to wear the same clothes everyday and live without comfort under the hill. Shuddering at the thought, she opened the door and greeted the warmth of the new day as it closed behind her. Warm breezes lazily brushed against her face and butterflies flew about the many varieties of flowers that had spread their color and charm all over the valley. Torrin was thouroughly enjoying himself as he tried to get a better look around, but his care taker was in his way.
A thin dirt path spilled into the valley from the encirclement of trees, ferns and other greenery growing beside it. "That's intruiging, no?" She asked Torrin, who really didn't care at the moment. Ten minutes passed by as they walked along the trail, the suns rays sneaking through gaps in the leaves of the trees. Arms begining to ache, she put Torrin on the path and let him run around. "Don't wander off Torrin, you here?" A few more minutes of walking and taking in the wonderfull scenery, the path was no longer of dirt, but of soft short grass void of rocks and twigs. Eventually it widened and split in two directions, to the right and to that left. "What do you think Torrin? Right or left?"
"Ba-a-a!" He answered, running down the path on the left. He could hear something like water, smelled it to. He didn't stop running until the path ended and grew into a circle. The noise he had heard came from a waterfall that elegantly flowed down from the mountain. The light glinted off the flawless and unbroken surface of the cascading water like a saphire gem, the pool where it was collected clear as the sky with no clouds, no disturbances and even no birds. An underground tunnel that was on the opposite side of the waterfall meant that it ran into an underground stream or river, so they had to be carefull at what they do with the water.
VG eventually caught up to Torrin, shouting as she ran. As she entered the clearing, she stopped and her jaw dropped in amazement. "Oh my Lord," was all she could say at that moment as she observed the sight that lay before her. After a few more minutes of looking around and inspecting everything about it, she turned to Torrin who lapped the water from the edge of the pool. "Well, time for your bath." It was a good thing she was wearing shorts, or she'd get wet and would have to take them off and hang them to dry for an hour or so and when visitors dropped by, or if visitors dropped by, she wouldn't have anything to put on. Stepping into the crystal clear liquid, she waded to Torrin and shepherded him into a place where he could still stand, but the water flowed over his back. The water was just the right temperature while she washed him. Soot, as some of you may know, is very hard to get off of animal fur so it took a few minutes before he was clean again.
Deciding they had nothing better to do, V tried to teach Torrin how to swim. He was afraid at first, but soon warmed up to the idea and had a good time playing in shallow water, seeing how far into the deeper end he could go before his gaurdian pulled him back into shallow water again. The rest of the morning was spent there, and when they got hungry they decided to head back to the valley and go into town for some lunch and furniture.
