After watching the news reports back in September 2001 and after seeing this, what are your opinions of terrorism, the government, and the possiblity of a great conspiracy?

I'll go first:

After seeing "Loose Change" it made me really question what really is going on. Raising questions like "Is it really possible for our government to plan something like this?" and "What are we to do whether or not it is true that our own government caused such terrorism?" To answer my own questions, it is not unheard of for governments to use an attack (Or just fear in general) to gain more power amongst the people they are governing. Hitler did it in Germany by killing government officials and blaming the jewish community for the problems in that country, and with such fear came the holocaust; but that's only one example. After the 9/11 attacks the Islamic (Or anyone assumed to be a muslim and/or a terrorist) community was hit the hardest by Americans of all colors and backgrounds, in such a fear of terrorism people began to assume the worst of one minority, and much racism along with intolerance to the islamic traditions, beliefs, and to the Koran (Or Qui'ran). Let's just say that more and more people were joining the military to become "turbanators". When it comes to government power, they have definitely gained some power after 9/11, which included more power to the executive branch (Police, military, and the president), one example of such power is "The Patroit Act", which allows wire taping WITHOUT a warrant.
In my opinion the government DID have a lot to gain from those attacks, and I do think that it's fair to say the government could have easily plotted this for their gain. However I still think that whether or they did it or not still has yet to be determined.
