Here's a little something I thought would be good to add here, this is a more humourous view of the Bush Administration, and of the War on Iraq; However it DOES bring up some valid points.
A clip from The Daily Show about the Bush Administration (This clip is 6 minutes and 44 seconds long and an internet connection faster than dial up is recommend)
And here's
Jello Biafra's opinion of the Bush Administration and terrorism. (This clip is 4 minutes and 58 seconds long)
What do you think of this administration? Have they done anything good that no one else has done before?
And what do you think of the War on Iraq? Should our soldiers keeping figting there? What do you think the War on Iraq is really for?
I'll start:
In my opinion it becomes more and more challenging to see just one thing that the president and his administration have done to be COMPLETELY positive.
The War on Terrorism was (And still is) a joke to say the least, after all, it's been proven that you can't kill all the terrorist in the world; that would only work if the terrorist were born in this world in ways that were different from mankind, but since they look the same, and in some cases have diverse ideas like any other human. And even if we killed all that were here now, more would come later, after all "Violence causes more violence". So a War on Terrorism is an idiotic idea, did we really complete its purpose? The answer is no..bin Laden is still out there, and he's still making pointless videos to scare people, and yes, there are still terrorist.
So then our country goes to War on Iraq without finishing the other war (I see the Iraq war as a "part two" to "The War on Terrorism", but I know that not everyone agrees with me there) and we (Our soldiers, rather) did one thing that was good: Saddam was kicked out of whatever office he had (Even though he was actually kicked out wrongfully (We had no proof of "Weapons of Mass Destruction" nor did we make the war official)) . However, we (Our soldiers again) are still there, almost like sitting ducks. Supposedly, we are helping them to have a democracy, however I think that our soldiers are there to help obtain some more fianacial gain. I also believe that the best thing our soldiers could do is leave, and let Iraq have the civil war that is trying to start there, once it's done they'll have their government, and all sides would have some sort of compromise. We might not have our fiancial gain, but I really don't see why we would even need it, after all this is America, one of the richest (If not the richest) countries in the world.
Now after hearing all my war babble above can you now see how it is hard to see the good the administration could have done? I mean with all the constitutional ******** here and there, and all the madness that has been happening. If they have done anything good that DOES make up for the two wars (And the possible conspiracy..) do let me know.
