demon.. you kill things! that makes me queasy.
eek I mean I'm being judging, just.... for me....
Do you ever eat what you hunt? Not just the fish, I mean....
Always. Although I do not hunt fish. I usually use barbless hooks so as to allow minimal damage to the fish. As far as the things I hunt and eat, I will pursue Whitetail Deer, Grouse, and Pheasant. It is just the way I have been raised. Although many people may say that I am A heartless killer, what they do not realize is that because of traditions of my family When an animal is taken we always pray for that animal and show it total respect for its life and for the Food that it will provide. But that only scratches the surface of why I hunt. Some of the things that most non-hunters or anti hunters do not realize is that A portion of the money I put forth in shells, arrows, other hunting gear such as outfits and especially the liscence itself get put back into the fund for conservation of natural areas and the wildlife within. This is according to a federal law passed known as the Pitman-Robertson Act. If you are interested in finding out more about the act for better understanding, here is a site to look at.
Pitman-Robertson ActNow Most of the time I get out in the woods and find a nice comfortable tree to lean against and in which case I usually end up falling asleep. Also I will not just shoot anything that moves. I have actually went now for six years without getting a single deer. So why do I hunt? Because I am supporting conservation and ensureing that there will always be wildlife for future generations to view. Also If anyone takes offense to this, then I am sorry, but when it comes to tradition and Especially conservation, I am pasionate about it. Not to mention it is a way that I get to spend quality time with my father that I rarely ever get to see because I was in school and now that I am working, it allows me a chance to get home and spend a relaxing day with him as we get out into the wilderness.
