Starlight glided lazily through the air, having quite happily frittered a good part of the day away playing games with another young unico. His large feathery wings only beating often enough to keep him in the air. His long colorful tail streamed out behind him like a rainbow, he closed his eyes, flaring his nostrils to breathe in the cool, fresh air.
He loved being able to fly, it gave his legs a rest when he'd been on his hooves all day. Opening his eyes again he halted mid-air, fluttering his wings to keep him in one spot, he suddenly jerked his head downwards and divebombed towards the ground, turning suddenly upwards moments before he hit home, his tail brushing the solid earth below before he shot back upwards, laughing out loud at the exhilartion he felt.

Skadi stood on a hilltop gazing out at the open plains below a hint of laughter caught her attention and the demi goddess smiled "Having fun?" she called seeing the rainbow mained equus in the sky. Skadi opened her own wings and took to the air her wings seemed so brittle like a thin ice sheet although they were quite strong and well enough to support her. "Greetings," the demigoddess called to the unico, his horn was unusually long and she had seen some stange things although nothing like this before.
"May I inquire as to your name?"

Starlight grinned "Yes, yes I am" he called out, showing off by doing a sudden loop-de-loop, his mane and tail making him look like a twisted rainbow, before flying closer to the frosty-looking newcomer.
"Greetings, my name's Starlight." he responed, bobbing up and down as a way of an aerial bow. He inspected her as he spoke, somewhat distacted by her sparkling wings "And what might yours be?" he asked, pulling his attention away from her wings he had become quite amused by the fact his breath had started to mist-up since he had come closer to the strange mare.

Skadi laughed at the plyfullness of this teen "Impressive." she commented on his loop-de-loop. "Well met Starlight I am Skadi." the demigoddess replied introducing herself not as a demi goddess so many would scorn her for it, gods and mortals alike. Skadi did notice how the unicos breath became misty he didn't seem to notice. "Care to fly with me?" she inquired. Skadi hadn't done much flying for a while and a light flight would do her well, especially with the company of this playful unico.

"Nice to meet you Skadi" she replied, tossing his head to get his mane out of his face. "It would be a pleasure to accompany you, afterall, such a lovely lady as yourself shouldn't be alone." he responded with a wink, his tone playful. He flew in a circle around her, turning a loop above her before flying just ahead of her, becking her to follow him as he giggled, full of energy. "Come on Skadi, don't be a slowpoke now!" he called, spinning about mid-air.

Skadi just smiled "I'm glad you chose to come." she said flying forward at a decent speed. She was not one for aerobatics. "And why is one such as yourself all alone Starlight?" she inquired of the rainbow stallion "Have you no playmates?" she said this teen would probally need to play with some one or explode. "Impressive" she said again she was more impressed with how much energy the unico had.

"I was enjoying the breeze"he replied, stopping mid-spin so he was flying in the same direction as Skadi but backwards "And I don't have playmates, i'm a grown Stallion now!" he puffed out his chest as he spoke, snorting and holding his head up, "Besides, I was playing games with a new friend this morning." he added, giggling and turning around so he was flying beside her. "So why are you all alone? You seem so nice."

"I'm sure you were enjoying the breeze," Skadi said she the toss of her mane. The demi goddess wanted to laugh at his comment. How could this one not have playmates? sure he was older but he was still just a child at heart. "You older in body are still young of mind." she replied then grinned "I bet you were, you play with whoever don't you backwards unico" she teased.
"I am alone' the demi goddess said "because I choose to be, I have been dealing with my sibling and I needed time away from them. But unfamiliar company is welcome"

"I'll have you know i'm very mature for my age! I'm a champion at Applesauce!" he replied, rather proud of himself, "almost totally undefeated!" he added, tossing his mane like a supermodel. In doing so he got his hair in his face and ended up flying off at an angle form Skadi, slowly heading downwards until his hair got blown out of his eyes by the wind. Wobbling a bit, he righted himself out and flew back to Skadi, his white cheeks bright pink with embarassment. "I meant to do that..." he muttered, his ears flopping down.
Remembering what she had said, his ears perked up a bit when he changed the subject rather swiftly. "Oooh, you have siblings? You're lucky! What are they like? Are they all like you, with such pretty wings?" he asked, clearly interested in the subject.

"Uhuh" she just let it go and continued flying letting him get tangled in his overly long mane. She smiled "You ok back there?" she teased and let it be again. "Yes my siblings all have wings like I" Skadi said looking foreward "But their personalities varry just as the season of winter does."

"Wow, they sound interesting." he said, "How did you get to be wintery like you are?" he asked, tilting his had slightly "Did you live in a cold place for a long time? Or are you some sort of sorcerer?" having never met any kind of deity, full or demi, Skadi's frosty aura confused him a little, but he hadn't thought to ask until just then. "I know Shiva's a bit like you, all wintery, but she doesn't have the same kind of... glow about her" he added, not quite able to find the right word for it.

So many questions, this one was full of curiosity Skadi deemed. Well she might as well answer him. "I am more than a sorcerer I am the eldest Demi Goddess of Frost Child Of the Winter goddess Coenea twin to Chrono." she said her full title hopefully that would answer all his questions about who she was. "I believe I met Shiva once although she couldn't seem to figure out who I was."
"I glow?" she hadn't heard that before but she guessed to this mortal she did. "I guess I do glow then." the demi goddess smiled.

Starlight balked and stared at Skadi, his eyes wide "You... you... you're a Demi Goddess?" he gasped, taken by surprise by this revelation "but, but..." he stammered, moving forward slowly to catch up with Skadi "but aren't you... I mean... wow... I've never met a Demi Goddess before!" he exclaimed, wiggling his colorful tail like a puppy. Having gotten over his initial shock, he flew a little more steadily, his eyes still wide. "So... so your siblings are all Demi Gods too? and your mum's a Goddess?" he asked, amazed by the whole situation.

"Few have met demigods or Gods themselves." Skadi let him take in all the information she had provided. SHe nodded "Yes they are" she smiled. "Aren't I what?" she inquired "Few know me for who I am. I am young and old at the same time. Yet not as old as thoes ancient."
"Were is your family?" she questioned.
