The room is decorated with symbols of a long forgotten language. Painted on the floor and ceiling one can not help but look at them. Even thou their understanding cannot be read you gain a since of security from them. On the left wall you see an alter with the deity of a Vampire and candles lighted all around it. On the right side you see a desk cluttered with ancient books, some with the symbols that the room is decorated in. On the far wall from the entrance you see what looks like a bed. However a black fog seems to occupy the middle space of the frame.
When entering the room you notice raine kneeling down and praying in a language you cannot understand.

Mirth appears from behind TBR
When Raine says he's old, he means very old. I don't understand most of it myself, but he sticks to his ways.

Captain I give you my word that my loyalty is to you. I only pray to this god so that I can keep my humanity. For my kind this is the only way to keep our demon nature in check. While I sleep for long periods to avoid the need to drink the blood of mortals. This god enhances my resistance against this need.

Mirth places a hand on Sam's shoulder. He does a lot to prevent himself from drinking blood. It's a matter of pride for him

( I must make a correction to what I said in the forums. Sorry it has been a long night for me, just got out of work. What I meant to say was that my character sleeps for long periods so that he does not have to drink blood. The god that he prays to enhances his resistance against this need. Sorry for the confusion)
