Smokey Name: Smokey Breed: Mustang Gender: Mare Color: Slate Grullo DOB: 2.14.2007 Height: 14.2 hh Personality: A truly rebellious mare. More than just a little cantakerous, she tests her limits every chance she gets. She has her quirks, mainly being headshy, footshy, and cinchy. But she also hates children, dislikes meeting new people, and would rather not have anything to do with people. But for some unknown reason, she tolerates Kachie, and allows her to handle her. History: Caught off the range as a filly, Smokey was a BLM horse, and initially had a good home, but her owner was unexperienced with handling horses, and was rough with the young mare. As a result, the mustang got more and more resistant to being handled until finally her owner was forced to manhandle her. Which didn't help. She became increasingly anti-social, and was kept isolated from other horses. Her original owner finally managed to sell her to a young woman, Kachie, who brought her here to Azale.
