Sure, the shelves are for books, but there should be room for a few knick-knacks as well.
Please feel free to donate and discuss any you find interesting, loveable, normal, remarkable, or otherwise worth adding to our collection.

Very pretty!
*Hangs some nice, bright curtains (Red, do you think?) in the windows & ties them back.
I'd like to display my doll collection. I had a pretty good sized one, at one time, though I have had to stop collecting, at least for the time being--My shelves, alas, are finite & there is no more room! Books take most of it wink

We need scented candles. Makes a lovely relaxed atmosphere, perfect for friendly debates and reading and chatting and stuff. Maybe some incense too.

Cucumber Melon is a long time favorite of mine, but Caramel Vanilla and Pumpkin Spice are nice too. just not so soothing.

I believe I have a rather large collection of odd momentos from my various exploits.
A 1993 Mighty Ducks first playoff series pin. (I was 2.) A deck of Princess mononoke themed cards. A dredle(sp?), from my friend. An FMA pocketwatch. and several other items of mention, that I still am not going to mention.
I'll just put them on the shelf...

Kermit the Frog was short of cash so he went to the bank to borrow some money.
the loan officer, Ms. Patricia Whack, was dubious about his ability to repay, so she asked for collateral.
he did not have title to his swamp, and all his royalties were in Jim Henson's estate, so he scratched his bald green head thoughtfully, said he'd be right back, and left.
a little while later he returend with a sack full of odd objects. there were dreamcatchers, kitty kat wall clocks, mood rings, princess mononoke cards and other oddments.
the loan officer had no idea what to make of all this so she called over her supervisor who examined Kermit's loot and said:
"those are knick knacks, Patty Whack! give the frog a loan!"
50g to whoever recognizes the tune in this tale.

I have Beanie Babies all over my room. I collected them when I was about ten or so, and I never threw them out. They're so cute. n.n I also have various other stuffed animals and little figurines tossed around my room, which I also never got around to throwing out of giving away. <.< I'm a packrat, what can I say? And they all have fond memories attached to them.
I vote for incense, as well as scented candles. I love incense. I used to have a cow incense holder, but I can't remember where I put it. Probably some closet, or my sister stole it. I like cinnamon scent for everything.
If we're talking about teas to have, can we have Apricot Ceylon and Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearl? Those are probably my two favorite teas ever. The Jasmine Dragon is pretty expensive, though. It takes three months to make, you know.
