No no you don't jump. You got to pop hard and suck your knees up, jumping causes sketchy unconsistent ollies, don't forget to put pressure on your front foot as you're sliding. cool

When you first start off, make sure you bring your front foot back a lot, farther back than the middle of the board.
Bend down, jump, give it pop, lean forward, and drag your front foot up. Watch videos online, just keep trying new things, you'll get it.
It took me a full week. I mean a full week as in, being outside for 7 hours a day, doing nothing but an ollie for 7 days.

Oh i think i might be able to tell..ollies are easy, but there can be tricks to make them better.
1.foot position- your back foot must be on the tail while your front foot can be on the middle of the board, higher or lower.whatever your comfortable with.
2.pop and slide pop the tail to get air, then slide your front foot out to level it out in the air.
after that experiment your foot position to figure out whats best for you.i just made my ollies 2x higher while fooling around.i make it so my back foot is slanted where the heel is kind of up..i only feel my toes and the arc that holds my toes below it on the foot.then pop it like that and once i leveled it out it went 2x higher!if thats confusing, just do the pop and slide technique..if you need more help pm me.
