Trainer tips...

Welcome to the Deity Islands.

The deity Islands are home to all pokemon from all the regions of the pokemon world.

Some trainers come to the Deity Islands for the new types of pokemon.
Some come for the training in some of the harsher islands.
But most come to compete in the Deity Challenge.

Information

Getting Started play information
Battles
exclaim First of all pokemon battles should be rp'd semi-literately.
exclaim Battles dont just have to be against other rp's, you can also rp meeting other trainers ect.
exclaim If in a battle with another trainer, if you feel neither of you is getting anywhere then both roll one 6-sided dice. (if someone your up against rolls then you must roll also)
Then person with the highest roll wins. (up to you to rp the win, and up to the other person to respectfully lose!)
If the dice roll is a draw then battle ends in a double knock out.

Trainers
exclaim Trainers cant use items in battle
exclaim Trainers can challenge people to Tag battles.

pokemon
exclaim you can have a maximum of 5 rank points worth of starter pokemon.
exclaim If you have any new pokemon youve made up that you want to start off with pm me and ill see about adding it to the pokedex of new pokemon in another section
exclaim pokemon for all regions are availble in Deity Islands.
exclaim Rare pokemon. Rare pokemon are allowed but ask me if its ok via pm.
pokemon that wont be accepted are mewtwo or deoyxs. (these can be found in the black list in the pokedex section)


Locations
These are locations in the Deity Islands:
1: Starting Island:- Bloom Island
2: Deity Challenge takes place on :- Lunarwind Island

these will be added to as you rp.

Pokemon
Attacks
Pokemon can use more than just 4 attacks, like the series you can use any one they've learned previously plus ones they learn through training.

That doesn't mean however you can tech magicarp hyperbeam or something stupid like that. keep it beliveable. however if you feel a pokmon should know a move that it cant learn in show/games then ask me if your allowed it.
For instance beedrill can learn posiontail. To me that seems sensible.

Ranks
As i mentioned in the rules this rp doesnt use levels.
instead pokemon are placed into 1 of 5 ranks:

Starter[1] :- Fresh caught and in need of training.
Adept [2]:- A pokemon that has been trained fairly well.
Battler[3] :- A pokemon that has been trained for a long time.
Gym level[4] :- A pokemon that has won against a gym leader.
Expert[5] :- A pokemon that has gone through another pokemon league.

These dont give your pokemon any speical treatment but should be taken into consideration when battleing.

These should also be taken into consideration when choosing your starter pokemon. Each has a starter pokemon rank point value seen in [] above.


Gyms
Their are 10 gyms in the Deity islands.
You only require 8 to take part in the Deity challenge.

The locations of which will be added via rp.
The gym leaders will be decided via rp. (the number of pokemon and style of play will determin how other people face them too, so try not to make them impossible to beat.)
This information will be added to the Gym leaders section.
