A small town called Thorntail has a small crises on its hands. The land rights to the Norton High School was placed up to bid and will be demolished in place of a megaplex at the end of the school year. The mayor however asks for one last attempt to save the school, the rights will be up for grabs to those who can afford it that wishes to keep the school from being destroyed, or find a way to prevent the school too important to destroy.
Within the school a small club began at the start of the new school year called the “Norton High School Restoration Committee” (NHSRC or RC). Their aim is set on saving the school that means much to them, and even to some of their parents who attended the school (even the mayor attended NHS). However it has been most of the school year and now only a month is left and the club is barely halfway needed to buy the land-rights. The club that grew in size rapidly is now dispersing and falling apart at the seams, the inevitable seems to be at hand.
Can the students save the school? Or will it forever be a memory?

Rules
-There will be 4 “periods” of a school day followed by 10 minute break period between these classes, the lunch period will be longer than the other periods. There will be an [Announcement] that can be NPC at any time, but invoking it will cause others to fall in line (for exception if it is a call to the office or specific reason).
-Time will be calculated by activity done, if everyone is asleep in class or have nothing relevant to put in during it, the class period can be skipped over (I assume this will happen a lot for exception of lunch periods).
-Each grade will have a similar schedule that all students of that grade will follow with a few exceptions, this is so that players of that grade area can RP behavior during classes rather than just study or sleep. There are 8 classes, but we are only going to Roleplay 4 of them.
-Teachers can teach one class for each grade group (Freshman, Sophmore, Junior, Senior) but should be within their favorite subjects, Math would probably not want to teach Chemistry unless the teacher made was meant not to be a good teacher to begin with.
-“Special Secret” is a quality that makes your character unique, such as anime behavior like Hyper Dimension Mallets, Space Alien, or Time Traveler and such. However this can be used to however that seems appropriate to your character, however it must remain a secret and very few people know how to keep secrets, so keep it to yourself unless it is deemed necessary (or comical). And no “Money from thin air” tricks, that would just ruin the whole need for this RP ^_^
-You may create the background of your character a secret from me if you want and only give a profile of the story they have given. If your character has a “Special Secret” however please still note it.
-Your age must be above that of when one can walk and talk, probably above 6 years maybe, or whatever age Chiyo-Chan is. Students can't be older than 19 unless they were held back a lot. Teachers can be around 26 and up.
*School Schedules are different for grade groups with maybe a few differences. A schedule is 8 periods. However only 4 are scheduled for RP purposes.
Teachers have classes that pertain to what they like to teach, and may have a grade level preference. At least lunch period must be a break to help students. This is the final month so some lazy teachers would have their last period as a break to escape early. (I known some councilors to escape early)
Student schedule will be worked on later after some teachers are posted, each grade level has a similar schedule unless we have more than 20 student players (kinda don't think it would happen). This group schedule will allow in class role play hopefully.
-Also note how your character feels about the school being torn down, and the Friends/Lovers spot may be changed after enough characters are in, its more of a Harvest Moon like list than anything. (Changed sorta, you can add which groups your in as well)

Charactor Name: Josephine 'Jo' Anderson

Gender: Female
Teaches: Chemistry
Personality: Jo is a bit crazy, often encouraging her students to cause BIG EXPLOSIONS in the middle of class. But the other teachers pop up in time to stop it. Poo. Jo doesn't have a really bad temper-most of the time she's oblivious. Godzilla could be attacking and Jo wouldn't really notice.
Appearance: Jo has red frizzy hair, freckles, and green eyes. Basically, she's Irish. Out of her labcoat, scrubs, and tennis shoes at school, she'll usually wear many clothes in bright colors. Like lemon yellow. Ho'boy.
Favorite Subjects: Chemistry and lunch.
Teacher grade: 3 (causes...many many explosions.)
Special Secret: She works with the police. Jo thinks that there are certain students with...'secrets' of otherwordly proportions.
Friends / Lovers / Married?: Jo's married to a man named Edward Anderson (where she got her last name). ((If she has any friends, I can't say because no one else has joined yet!))
Background: Jo's family is originally from southern Ireland, but Jo herself was born in the town here. Growing up, she read books like Frankenstein. She met Edward while she was arrested for mixing chemicals. Jo was on probation with Edward when she asked him for a night out. (He had a collection of books, many in the same context as Frankenstein.) It was pretty much a forced marriage-but Ed's calmness and Jo's craziness seem to balance each other out.

Personality: Lenore is a rather quiet young man-he's not the loud kind of crazy his mother is. He gives people death glares.
Appearance: Lenore takes a bit after his mother and a bit after his father. He has his mother's red hair (and the frizziness of it at that) but he has brown eyes like his father. His complexion is a mixture of his two parents. In the winter, he has a light and dark brown striped scarf and a dark brown jacket added to his usual clothes. Normally he wears a white t-shirt, black dress shoes, and dress jeans.

Background: For all his life he just wanted to be alone, however his good looks and grades tend to force him into center of attention. During class and lunch he tends to be the most silent and only saying a few words that could define the meaning of life. His group called “Katarn Group” as Jess likes to call it, was formed by Mika who brought her friends to the circle during lunch, eventually others followed. While the trouble was unwelcome, he got over it and even helped the “group” whenever they are in a pinch, wither it was bullies, teachers, or lovers. However he skips on helping with homework.

Background: She is the “Leader” of the NHS Restoration Committee. Her family are owners of profitable business corporations and her being at this school was originally thought to be a mistake. However the Numen family heard of a rumor of a possible breakdown of the school and sent their daughter to see if she could save it, as it was a school they both attended and even married there. It wasn't until the rumor was realized that she could actually step in and form the NHSRC. While part of Katarn's group, she really doesn't socialize with the others as she believes it to be distracting.

Somehow she can translate his cryptic speech into something that could raise morale or give hope to the person he meant it for. She is passionate about the school and devotes all her free time to trying to save the school from going under.

He and Kyle had a fight over something at one time and now they became rivals, since Kyle is also (what he thinks) going out with one of the NHSRC members, his hate also boils down to them too.

Special Secret: Made a deal with the companies to help the school worsen to the point of collapse, in return gains a head position in the new company.

Appearance: He looks like an old man of his age, he wears his white dress shirt and tan pants to the school and to outdoor activity.

Background: He has a great track record for a teacher, however his personality doesn't make very many friends. Johnson Family: Husband, 2 kids.

Background: She has been teaching at NHS for 8 years and had a great record over the course of time. To many students she is the “cool” teacher, she lets students get away with little things like homework and days off while maintaining discipline for up coming tests. Mrs. Johnson also acts as a counselor at times for those having trouble, and sometimes even assists other teachers with their problems or students.
She isn't without her own problems however, her husband is having trouble finding work, and soon the school might just close. She assists the NHSRC in hopes that it will find a way to bring the school she worked at for so many years together, and maybe keep her own family together as well.
