To the New Child!
Name of Scent: Reynard

Scent: Sake
Physical description for each stage: WIP...but know this...Rey's gonna be a little fox-boy!
Unlit: Your average burner and glass bowl, filled with clear liquid tinted an amber color...wait? Is that a stalk of rice floating in it?!
Lit: Much the same as before, but the oil seems to have turned a more golden tint...Okay, what is with the smoke doing weird things?!
Child: O.o; There's a little fox boy running about...Skin a golden tan with little whisker-like marks on his cheeks, short pale gold, almost white hair with dark gold tips, bangs hanging in his amber eyes...And that's the NORMAL looking stuff. Resting on top of his head are dark gold fox ears with pale gold tips in place of normal ears, a fluffy dark gold fox tail extends from the base of his spine with a pale gold tip, and his fingers and toes are clawed! He wears a knee-length yukata that's white with little amber and gold paw prints all over the sleeves and bottom half, and a dark gold sash tied about his waist keeping it closed.
Adolescent: Someone...get the hormone suppressants! It would figure once he hit the teens, the mischievously cute fox-boy would turn into something akin to a pretty boy. Aren't all foxes that way, after all? His pale gold hair now hangs to his shoulders and is slightly tousled, with parts curving in to touch his face. The skin is still a golden tan, and the whisker marks are still there, along with the ears and tail, but he's grown taller and lost most of the 'cute factor'. Oh no, he hasn't gotten unattractive...He hath started down the road to smexy! His build is slim and healthy, and he always has a smile or smirk on his face. His eyes have gone from wide and innocently mischievous to narrower, deep amber pools of something else. And the sake smell that seems to waft from him doesn't really seem like he's been drinking at all...He wears a yukata of the same color and cut as his child stage, but without the paw prints and is left slightly open so you can see part of his upper torso, and tucks into a pair of dark gold hakama. He still refuses to wear shoes, saying they hurt his claws.

Personality: Rey is a flirt and free with his affections. You can't really call him a playboy, since he truly does find everyone he flirts with attractive in some way. And he doesn't mean to hurt feelings, he just doesn't realize others aren't as amorous as the sake-smelling boy. He loves his drinks, and sushi, mochi, and rice candy are among his favorite foods. You add rice, he'll probably love it. And he's a bit...boisterous and loud when he's emotional or excited. Most would look at him normally and think either 'horny drunk' or 'playboy', and then think him a 'loud drunk' when excited. But never, ever say he slurs his speech. He makes quite an effort to always say things properly! He's also a little...possessive about his hair. He adores the silky strands, and can't believe other people would chop off their hair! Or-or have so little of it!
Wings: Pale gold feathers with dark amber tips and a translucent quality to them...if he ever gets to that stage...

Name: Esme Espérance
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Occupation: Seamstress
Personality: Esme is a very quiet young woman. She rarely speaks out of turn, her voice is almost never heard yelling, and she's rather shy. It's not out of fear of others or anything like that...it's just how she is. She's never been particularly outgoing. Esme is a very calm and patient girl too, able to sit for hours without complaint and doesn't get frustrated like others when she has to rip out a seam or some such. She's also a very motherly woman, and will often end up helping out a lost child or chiding her friends when they haven't gotten enough sleep or haven't fed themselves...and then promptly has them take a nap or buys/makes them food. Esme is not only far too trusting for her own good, she's also unable to stand conflict, backing down instead of standing up for herself.
Appearance: Esme is an attractive girl, but isn't what people would call beautiful, per say. Her light brown hair reaches her waist and is most often kept in a loose braid or ponytail, her eyes are a light blue, almost grey, and her skin is just a bit tanner than average...she prefers to sew outside when she can. She's of a small build, and stands at 5'5", with a figure that would be slim if it weren't for her pregnancy...she's in her fifth month now. Her fingers are slender and long, but also slightly calloused in some places from her sewing.
Esme wears clothing she made, though it is most often practical, with a few embellishments. Her favorite colors to wear are dark blues, pastel greens and reds, pale yellows, and whites. At the moment, her clothing is all maternity, in the form of ankle-length skirts, empire-waist shirts, elbow-length to long sleeves, sun hats, and sandals or tennis shoes.
Residence: Esme lives in a small apartment in downtown Cyrus City, from which she makes and sells her sewing creations. She makes enough to live off of, and her parents are helping with doctor's bills and baby things.
Relationships: She was recently rescued from her abusive boyfriend by her parents six months ago. The man is the father of her child, and has no clue where Esme's parents sent her.
Family: Ames and Liana Espérance are both pastry chefs/chocolatiers at their bakery in Douglass City, some 300 miles from Cyrus City. Esme's little brother, Louis, is sixteen and still in high school. She recently had her baby, Alais Espérance, a healthy girl.

Just to let you know, it's Kanpai. There is no 'm' sound that stands alone in the Japanese language. The m sound is always followed by a vowel.
