Alright, so here we can discuss spiritual guardians, true selfs, otherkin, and things of this nature - over my time of study, I have noticed that sometimes they overlap categories, and you can have different ones in each categories - and sometimes people can only find themselves in one of the categories. Discuss.

My true self is a nagini, I have more personal details on myself then I do my past - but I remember some of the more... grotesque details. Ones that I shant describe in order to keep the PG-13 Gaian rule in place. I am a believer that one's true self is inevitably their spirit too, although there are those who do not believe the same. As for spiritual guardian - I have never seen mine, and some believe that, if it is not your spirit itself, your true self is your guardian. As I do not believe that - I cannot say, however - I would base all my logic and knowledge on these matters into the fact that my spiritual guardian is probably a snake totem.

Now, I see myself more along the lines of being a lycan because as I've said in the religion post I believe that my spirit guardian is a wolf but the reasoning of believing that I am potentially a lycan is that because at times I show many of the characteristics of being one other than the more common aspects such as changing into a werewolf or growing claws, etc.

*nods* Lycanthropy is fairly common in the kin-departmnet; probably the most common, in fact.

Yes, it is hard to say - perhaps you can ask Gyver what he thinks (or he could just post here - whichever), he knows a bit more about all of this then I do

I believe that maybe my true self is a alchemist. I think maybe it is because i am so naturally drawn to it all and its strange enough that i feel like i know it all, even though i am positive that i haven't read it at all...okay beginning to think i am sounding like a right idiot xd

White Rose Dragon I believe that maybe my true self is a alchemist. >> Only the blackest of heartsYeah, although alchemists are almost always a humanoid species... could just be a human (much rarer in the realms, but they are there). As Rin said, alchemy could be a skill your true self had, which would explain why you are naturally good at it - my true self is a pyrokinetic and necromancer, which are two areas I am skilled in - and is half-snake, which explains my natural affinity for snakes. I don't really have a favorite creature of that sort - there are hundreds of thousands of them, and their subspecies spread out even further. Nagini are among my favorites, but so are basilisks, several dragons, elves (which, in all technicality, are just nagini without the snake half), sprites, essentially anything that either sucks your soul or lurks in the water and jumps out at you to kill you (which there are several of)... so many species, so little time. I suppose I have less of an affinity for elves, dragons, and basilisks because they are overdone/popularized (well, basilisks were mostly just in Harry Potter - but once it hits HP, it's "overdone" automatically... same with LotR). Of course, one can never really say they have a favorite - it's like saying your favorite species is cat. There are hundreds of cats in the world, many of them are cute (or if you prefer, sleek and sophisticated), many of them hold the royal, Egyptian air about them... and then some of them are fugly slobbish snobs. In the same retrospect, I quite like dragons with the longer, slender bodies - and I like most of the fire-breathing ones (many of them don't breathe fire, actually) - but some of them are just defecit. I also have a strong disliking of certain elves, some of the are just pretty useless - and I have never liked the elements of goodness and light that occur in some species. Due to my true self's past, I also don't really like the fire elves - although I like their species AND their power. Same applies for nature really - there will always be parts of nature that aren't so great - like... hurricanes *nods* or deserted wastelands not caused by humans (and not deserts either)... either not pretty or life threatening really. That is why I try not to choose favorites, unless everything else in the category is demeaned so greatly the others that there is no other option.
It is natural to like the powers and species of your true self... as you ARE your true self, so unless you hate yourself in the realms, you are bound to like those qualities here.

I'm a Zashiki Warashi all the way, myself. I love the myth behind them; unlike the lucky people some of you are, I don't recall any "past lives/events" that can truly verify my Zashiki Warashifulness, but... Just something about them... Is clever, contagious, and... familiar.
They're known for a lot of things, but... Let me condense some shtuff for you:
The Wiki site for them. : D
