Anyone else found this game a helpful and fun way to stay active? ^^
After reading numerous articles online about this last year, I got my parents to buy me it. It's helped me in so many ways.
Before the whole night I'd just sit down on the couch and watch TV, or sit on my chair and go on the computer. For Phys. Ed class at school, we have a log to record how long we exercise each day - to get full marks you needed 30 min a day at minimum. Before I literally got no exercise at all, and sometimes lied on it just to get the marks. But after starting to play DDR, it's kept me active, helped my health, and I no longer needed to lie on my activity log. whee
I'm a very inactive person, who just hates the thought of going outside and playing sports or jogging around the block. I think any type of exercise is good, as long as you enjoy doing it. DDR is what I enjoy, and I really began seeing the benefits of getting exercise into my life, and what everyone meant when they ranted on how important exercise was.

It's fun, I love it, but it was one of the causes of my knee problem. =P But I still love it. I lost one pound. xD

A friend of mine used to have DDR and the dance pad, and I loved it! Showed me how out of shape I was, though. I used to be out of breath and sweating like crazy after the one set of three.
But it was amazing cardio, and it's good for anyone with a competative nature: it's a game, and you can compete with yourself. Plus, you can customize your difficulty level, which really helps to kick your body in gear.

I'll make the most of all the sadness...
I love DDR!! It's so fun, I don't even realize I'm exercising!
I'm glad I have the pad for my ps2 though, because I would die if people saw my lame dance skills lol.
You'll be a b***h because you can.

The only access to DDR I have is in arcades. I know I look foolish but I feel so happy when I get off of it and I'm sweating yet I'm begging for more. Plus, I have no dancing skills, so that thing has taught me some moves. lol

xkagamix i wanted one but i dont know the price how much are they not that much, really. you need a playstation 2 or an Xbox. you also ned the game (about $20 for a used game-depends where you go) and you need a mat (also about $20-30- once again depends where you go)(it holds out for a couple of years- depends how much you use it.) DDR is my favorite video game and i totally love it! i'm gonna start playin it every day- and it has a workout mode so you can count how many calories ur burnin!!!!
