First off, I want to say thanks for accepting me into this guild. It is truely going to be a great joy.

What's your favorite nontemplate monster? Mine is the tarrasque.

What about epic monster? I actually created a couple, and I'm finishing the details. But they're each like CR 1.5 billion.

My favorite template? Either the ghost or vampire, and I'm working on making a cross between the two, that has all teh benifits and none of the original downfalls. The level adjustment and CR adjustment are higher than for a regular ghost or vampire.

Class? Well, when it comes to melee, I don't particularly like the monk. And then it comes down to the fighter, barbarian, and druid. The barbarian and druid are similar in that teh druid has a limited number of times it can use wild shape, and that the barbarian has a rage feature, that acts the same way the wild shape does, in the sense it is used a limited number of times per day, and increases melee ability greatly. The fighter on the other hand acts differntly. It has a huge number of feats, on average about one feat per level. By 3rd level it has 4 feats. By 12th level it could have power attack, cleave, great cleave, weapon specialization, greater weapon specialization, weapon focus, greaer weapon focus, and a few archery feats. That would mean that with the weapon specialization and focus and great versions of which such feats, the fighter would have an extra +2 bonus on attack (which may seem small, but really is a considerable differnce), and +4 damage (assuming the fighter has a strength score of 16 (which is actually low for a 12th level fighter, and carries a +3 bonus), then the total extra damage is +7. And assuminig he has a +4 weapon (which is average for a 12th level fighter), he could deal and extra +2d6 points of damage.

As for the arcane spellcasters, it always comes down to sorcerer or wizard. The wizard knows many more spells, and has more feats, but the sorcerer needs not prepare spells ahead of time, and can cast more spells in a day. I'd normally go for the sorcerer.

Healers? The cleric is the only one listed in the players handbook, and I prefer him to the healer in the minatures handbook, simply becuase he can turn undead.

Skill? Rogue, monk, ranger, or bard basically. If it's for hunting down something, it'd be the ranger, otehrwise, I'm going with the rogue.

Race? The dwarf.

Okay, I'll take a shot at this.

Monster: Werewolf. Yeah, I'm consolodating all your 'monster categories', here. I like playing at low levels, and I like mysteries. The werewolf combines those two elements beautifully, making for a pretty good low-level challenge.

Class: Monk. It takes some effort to survive the low levels (which I like), but slowly grows into a multi-tasking tank. The monk misses the roguishness/sorcererness of the bard (my other favorite), but becomes generally more combat proficient.

Skill: Diplomacy. I swear, it can do anything given enough time.

Race: Human. I'd venture more into other races if I thought I could RP them better, but the human's still pretty nice. Bonus feats and skill points make for a nifty little kick-start for any character.

God_of_Summoning

Skill? Rogue, monk, ranger, or bard basically. If it's for hunting down something, it'd be the ranger, otherwise, I'm going with the rogue.

true, of the base classes ranger is best for finding stuff, but I'm partial to the bloodhound on that one, sure you have to get it as a prestige class, but you get to add your bloodhound lvl to the track, gather info, etc... on whatever mark you chose, and you can just reset the mark when you have to...

oh and for skills rouge/wizard... as a rouge wizard there's like one skill you can't get, and only like 5 that are cross class... you can do anything

Monsters... black dragon or acid spittng creatures. Oh the pain!

I think Rogue/Thief is probably my best class but I love playing magic users and priests as well.

My favorite skill is an observation skill. Let's you notice things you wouldn't other wise. Very helpfull. And yea, Diplomacy kicks too.

Race: Elven or fae. I'm pretty decent at playing the long lived elves and the crazy pixies or fairies. Humans are good too, but so common.

monsters: hmmm undead has to be undead nothing is creepier than a dead thing that isn't.

Dread Necromancer is My top favorite class with Monk/Sorc a close second.

Skill: use magical device "you find a stange wand.." "random fire!!" *points away from party* "what now we know what it does..." because with this skill you can make anything work.

Race: I love Warforged! I don't know why I just do, Warforged and human are the most common I play sometimes half-elf. Second favorite is Drow not pansy Drizzit wantabe Drow either I mean the supieror race, that will enslave all you stupid surface dwellers, Drow. Though very few people will let Me actually play one lol. If you don't care about stats and just want to have fun the odd kohbald PC is always fun to play I love you little kohbald bard from neverwinter...

Gaseous form on self....
Float up to target... (DR 20/+1)
Have party member say the word. (Chig Le Boom)
You go Ka-blooie and save 20 on the damage

What's your favorite nontemplate monster?
-The Dwarfodelf (don't ask- not official and should never be)

What about epic monster?
-A former character I made... Lesser God status, ha! Went beyond 'chaotic nuetral' to 'too chaotic for realms of chaos.'

My favorite template?
-I might be tempted to pick your spectral vampire, but until then, I'm going with draconic heritage classes

Class?
-Yes
I enjoy them all and exploit them all. If there is ever a wonderful loophole in a supplement that the DM will let me use, I'll make a chaotic neutral version that is fully unique (so I like the lawful classes a bit less until I can turn against them).

Healers? Artificer. Limited healing ability, but an explosive thrown to activate the round he heals can be a life saver for a tanking construct.

Skill? Rogue is obvious for skill points. Otherwise, for skill tree it's a toss up between Artificer, Favored Soul, and the other new types.

Race? The dwarf. Specifically the dragonblooded dwarf, but we'll not go there. Unless they allow rilkan. twisted

fav race: Mmm...I am going to have to go with either a Raptorian, Catfolk or Killoren ( Races of the wild )

Raptorians have no level adjustment, born with wings (that you cannot fly with until lvl 5, but aids in falling/ +10 jump bonus, etc ) , and you can be any class that uses light to no armor, and theyre really fun to role play

Killoren's are aspects of nature summoned by the earth in it's defense against the unnatural, right now I am playing "against class type" making him a rogue/ ranger, and the Killoren is a rare few type, their are fewer than these than any other race in existance ( or so the book says ), and you can take forms or Nature's aspect as a special ability, no level adjustment

Catfolks, what can I say are fun as well!! with their +4 dex bonus, and +2 cha bonus, they make wonderful sorcerers ( or any cha/dex dependant class), hell I bet even make good Paladins! Anyways, also with low-light vision, base land speed of 40' to begin (imagine a Monk with that lol ), and a +1 Natural armor bonus! Of course, this is a +1 level adjustment character, but very worth it, nonetheless

What's your favorite nontemplate monster?
-Human. I love the free skill points and the Free feat.

What about epic monster?
-Former character i made. Let me just put it this way, here is the charactor sheet. And no the sword is not his primary weapon... http://nyteblade.webpal.info/DnD_Chars/Creatures/Xaban Corin.htm
I never listed his primary weapon. Its just tooo insane. biggrin

My favorite template?
-Half Dragon on a Half Orc. Yes thats right, the orc (Explitive Deleted) got Nailed by a dragon. LOL... its MANY MANY levels of ouch.

Class?
-Umm Im learning to enjoy a good high level wizard/Paladin combo. As long as you can cast 9th level spells a wizard/Paladin combo rocks.... And heals too..

Healers? Paladin/wizard. Paladin to lay on hands, wizard to mend. biggrin

Skill? I dont use them much. More of a brians over brawn person. Besides, unseen servents make good guiny pigs in a pinch.

Race? Human, or Tiefling...

If i had to pick a favorite monster, it would have to be the kopru from second edition dnd. Their charm ability can be pretty devestating if it succeeds O.o

Template, i like the werewolf. which brings t mind, does a natural born still have control of himself as a wolf, or just in hybrid and human forms???

race: human or Kobold. kobolds are pretty good sorcerer/dragon diciples i find. plus the strength bonus helps offset the -4 strength kobolds recieve.

class: Paladin, without a doubt. although recently i have begun experimenting with sorcerers.
