To be honest Im not a big fan of death or black metal.
My personal favorites rea Jazz, R&B, Hip/Hop
Regardless I'll still listen to pretty much anything except for techno, country, and bluegrass

Anything man. Although I find metal to be a tad pretentious at times, and I'm not to big on Country, save for certain artists.

wow, dude, I've already been through that, I listen to everything from Aaliyah to L'Arc en Ciel to Otis Redding to Garbage to the beatles to Asian Kung-Fu Generation to NIN to Sneaker Pimps.
I listen to all genres and world musics, from spanish reggaton to Japanese rock, it's all good to me

I'm rather fond of indie rock, like the Decemberists who make me quite happy, as well as classic rock. I heart Buddy Holly crazy much, on that note. Jazz, classical, and world music (Andean especially) are also much nice.

I would say that alternative rock appeals to me the most, but any type of music can be a good listen, provided it's done tastefully.

Pacify Classical, Jazz, Blues, Classic Rock. *hugs* Do you by any chance play an instrument? Because IMO, Classical/Jazz is music for musicians. I personally am a "Woodwindist". Flute, Sax, Bassoon. I like J-Pop, Jazz (and all it's wonderful sub-genres, like Jazz-Funk, Latin, Bossa Nova, etc.), I also like stuff like Evanescance and Avril. I'll take anything, except really hard metal and rap. And country can be a little grating at times, too.

Still..I play the Alto Sax, Bari Sax, Tenor Sax, Piano, and some Guitar.
My true specialty is the Alto Sax which i've been palying for about 8 to 9 years.

I listen to everything, I had a time when I only listened pop, but since I'm on gaia I listen really everyting, most of the time rock, but I also listen classic, metal, well, you name it, I listen it razz

I listen to mostly rock/metal. I don't care for rap much and I like some hip hop
Christian rock/rap I find oxymoronic and annoying as hell.
((My friend is constantly followed around by an extreeem christian who hates me and tortures me with that crap...)) [[[nothing against most Christians, I just can't stand him...]]]
