Mikey's been Mikey since the beginning but in The Black Parade lyric book his name is written "Michael Way" So is Mikey going by Michael now or was it just a thing dealing with the formality of it all?

i was gonna say formality but i doubt it now
because bob could be robert,but he wasnt.

bleeding unicorn well idunno. i was gonna say formality but i doubt it now because bob could be robert,but he wasnt. so,its weird. yeah,i thought that too. this question is going to haunt me for the rest of my life... xd or at least until i find out

Nah, he's still Mikey. I think maybe he just chose to put Michael to freak the fans. jk jk, but nah, he's still gonna be Mikey. I'm confident in it.

Well it was probably just a Black Parade thing. Maybe he wanted his alter ego to be more formal but Bobbert didn't. *shrugs* But who knows, we'll just have to ask Mikey what he prefers to be called! =D
