I'm bored, it's late, and physics is frying my brain. Now then, let's play a history game. Name a random historical figure type person and list a little known fact about said person. The next person to post should either named name a person with either the same first or last named as the previous person listed, a person from the same time period, or a person from the same era. Since my brain is fried right now, let's go with the following:

A young woman named Jane Grey was queen for nine days before Elizabeth I of England came into power.

Elizabeth I of England was a Virgin Queen and had a dog she was very fond of.

Yeah, I can't think of anything.

Adlai Stevenson said : "What other single human being has touched and transformed the existence of so many? She walked in the slums and ghettos of the world, not on a tour of inspection, but as one who could not feel contentment when others were hungry" about Elenor Roovesvelt. (I <3 Adlai. His name mean's god is jsut. I jsut think that's great.)

Franklin Delano Roosevelt was a cousin of Teddy Roosevelt's. Polio confined him to a wheelchair, and photographs of him were only ever taken from the waist up, to disguise this fact.

Lewis Carroll, a.k.a. Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, wrote the Alice in Wonderland books and lots of whimsical poetry. (Incidentally, his birthday was the same day [different year, obviously] as mine. ninja )
