On a beautiful sunny day Choco tended her garden full of big and juicy vegetables. She took her watering can and gently sprinkled water in her thirsty vegetables. Suddenly her ear picked up a munching sound coming from the corner of her garden. She slowly turned around with fear of what would be there. She saw a little bunny, munching on her healthy lettuce head. "Aw, how cute." She said in a soft voice trying not to scare the bunny away. She slowly approached the bunny, trying to startle it. She was so close to it she could pick it up. But then she stepped on a twig and it snapped into two. The bunny heard it and ran off to find somewhere safer to eat. "Hey come back! I promise I won’t hurt you!" Choco called back to it, but it was too late, the bunny was gone.
She picked up her bitten lettuce head and sighed. "Too bad I have to throw you out now." At that moment she looked down and saw a colourful oval in the soil it was purple and beige. She gently picked it up and held it as if it was a bird with a broken wing. She inspected it, looking at it in all different angles. Then she finally knew what it was, an egg. The bunny probably left it here by accident, but now it was gone, and the unborn bunny was an orphan. She sighed and stroked the egg gently with her finger. "Don't worry, I will take care of you.” she whispered to it in a warm soft voice.
